Theodore scoffed at what Andromeda said, shaking his head as he looked back at her. he wasn’t really sure what annoyed him most, that people didn’t bother to recognize when their ideals triumphed over years of brainwashing or that he would have been right alongside them only a couple of weeks prior. if they were still walking down the halls of hogwarts, there was no chance in hell he would have spared a second to glance in her direction, merely because he assumed she was just like the rest. if he had anything to attribute to edin aside from the countless bruises and growing nightmares plaguing his evenings, it would be this milestone in his personal growth. not that he would tell her as much or even admit it to anyone else. it was just nice to recognize as he shot the petite brunette a devilish smirk. ❝ well then. you’ll just have to give ‘em HELL until they see that’s not the case, now won’t you ? i find success particularly intoxicating when it comes with the satisfaction of watching people you hate eat their words. ❞ he ended his statement with a lax shrug, taking a small step closer to her. ❝ funny, that. especially considering we’ll need a fair share of friends when we’re out there wands out, fighting for our lives. at least you can say you’ve just gained yourself a new friendship. prove ‘em wrong even more now. ❞
ANDROMEDA !
" Ah... well, " She responded, with a casuaL tilt of her head, " How convienent. Apparently.. giving her hell is the one thing that I exceed at according to my mum. " Despite her teasing words, the young woman agreed with his statement. There was a certain satisfaction in proving people wrong... especially those that were going around making such NASTY assumptions about her character. Andromeda was many things, but she certainly wasn't someone that used her name for her own gain. And yes, she probably should have questioned when she was given the extra invitation to dinner and Lily hadn't been. But, could everyone else honestly say that they would have done the same? " You do have a point there, " She spoke, giving a small nod as he stepped closer to her. " I'd rather make my fair share of friends that'll have my SIX out there. " Her eyebrow quirked lightly at his next words as the corners of her mouth pulled into another smirk, " Oh, have I? What makes you think that I want to be friends, huh? " There was, of course, an obvious teasing tone to her voice as the last comment left her lips.
