there be dragons

Jack was going through the hallways of the dorm building focusing on the floor and any little spaces or holes. It had been 45 minutes since he’d last seen his  little white cat snake and with that much mischief in that tiny body who knew what type of mischief that ferret had gotten himself into. 

Henry, who was just coming back from class, ran into Jack. He was confused on why his roommate looked like he was talking to himself in the middle of their dorm building. “Hey Jack, you okay? Did you lose something?” Henry wanted to know if he could help in anyway possible, if Jack did need the help. ‘But what could he have lost?’ Henry started to tap his foot, as it was his tick when he was trying to think. “Did your pet go missing?” He figured from Jack seeming really worried, that it would have to be something important was missing. 

Collapsing onto one of the common area’s couches, Zatanna suppressed a shudder while attempting to banish the sounds she’d heard from her mind. It was amazing how quickly your day could be ruined by a sock on the door. And of course, her bag held nothing but a phone at five percent and her Ancient Deities textbook for entertainment, but at least she wasn’t alone.

Henry who was in the common room, sitting alone with a Magizoology textbook in his hand, looked up when the question was asked. “Oh I have an extra one if you want to borrow it?” Henry offered as he wasn’t going to be needing any charge for a while his phone was at 80% by now. He unplugged his charger from the outlet closest to him to pass it over to her.

“so let’s just say…” magenta adjusted her lopsided goggles on her head, “hypothetically of course… that i blew up a science lab… without using magic.” she hoped her appearance didn’t make it obvious that she had indeed blown up a science lab. “is there a good all-in-one spell for that or do you think i’m better off doing the spells separately?” science magenta could do. cleaning up messes, not so much.

Henry looked over to Magenta, while she was fixing her goggles. “In this quote on quote hypothetical situation, did you think about what would happen after you blew it up?” Henry asked, trying to think about if he read any books on spells and if there was an all-in-one spell she could. Sad truth was Henry was drawing a blank to anything that had to do with spells. “No......Nothing I can think of right now, however if you give me a little bit, I can probably find one if you want to join.” Henry chuckled at a thought in his mind on blaming it on dragons as some can bring destruction with them.
