just one chapter but i am enjoying myself immensely already!! i love mixing and matching the jayviks, especially the classic s2 jayce woth s1 viktor. no details but this is one of my favorites, the way they meet and come together

READ THIS WITH CREATOR'S STYLE ENABLED!! please the story is amazing on its own but it's incredibly enhanced by all the creative use of color and formatting and even little bits of movement, wrapped up in a wrenching viktor character study. this fanfic is next level tbh

age regression! ngl i really feel that a ship has made it when the fandom starts producing all the good old fashioned trope fics. and what a lovely example this is!! young viktor is so vibrant and jayce is so caring and earnest and tries his best. angsty, cute, emotional -- in certain scenes there's so much love between jayce and viktor, waahh -- plus i really enjoy the prose and narrative voice in this. reading it was a blast.

SWEET. yet another fic where jayce just cares so damn much but in lighter situations than fics i've recced previously. this is just such a soft, lovely little read. bit aching at times but funny, also great jayce voice:

BANGER premise with banger execution!!! it's rare to see postcanon fic where viktor is still in his arcane herald form, and what a GREAT interpretation this is. i dont want to talk about the specifics bc i want you guys to read for yourself but like it's real good

also what's in the abovementioned summary is just a start; this fic adds in a cosmic horror mystery, political maneuvering, ramifications of s2 events for zaun... all the while keeping the jayvik relationship gut-wrenching and emotional.

i really can't wait to see where this fic takes us

This fic is such a nice bookend to how Jayce and Viktor first started working together, to how Viktor only started working on Hextech when he stopped Jayce from jumping off a ledge and ending his own life.

gorgeously written pain though!! it's so worth it, and there's so many moments of beauty and humor and sweetness besides. this is jayce pov and the author writes him so good. mostly chronological vignettes set in season 1, with an ending that goes hard for the feels. written back in 2021 and in some ways it truly feels like the author got hit by the apollo prophecy dodgeball

One day, Huck finds himself caught watching an especially personal act of worship.

Christening the jayvik rec blog with a Huck character study ❤ lmao seriously though this is great. A look into the commune and Viktor's relationship with his followers, with all the morally thorny vibes that brings. As an outsider POV fic about the mental state of a different character, jayvik isn't the main focus but they still shine through, especially Viktor: benevolent and horrifying and cheeky. As for Jayce... well you will see. :)
