This has been on my “project list” for a bit. 400 individual squares!

I started following a pattern but quickly ditched it to just go with the flow. So this is an “inspired by Minecraft” grass block. I’m pretty tickled by it. I will have to pick up some polyurethane sealant because I refuse to have this destroyed after I caused myself shoulder pain working on it, lol. Might just spray some clear flex sealant on the inside just to reinforce it.

Do I really want to go down this road right now? Do I REALLY?

No, not really. I’m fn exhausted. Between shark week and a sinus infection I’m about to pass out. Regardless of my energy level (or lack of) I am still in the planning stages of Kit’s wings.

I have been sitting at my desk and creating my sunburst focal that I’ve been working on for months. I have a lot of projects that I’ll work on in spurts, if you haven’t noticed by now.

Before I got hit by a fleet of Mac trucks I did score at the thrift. A brand new set of Testors Enamel.

I also dreaded Zoe’s Monique wig. This took about 10~ish hours. I have a small video of me making a few but I’m nervous to post it.

I also was able to bring Randall back home. I don’t have any pics yet…

I know we weren’t supposed to be buying anything new this month, but I don’t get dolls very often anymore, max twice a year if I’m lucky. Maybe a bonus point because he’s previously loved?

When I posted in the “memories” part of the February look back challenge, it made me sad that I had not re-shelled Randall since I sold him years ago. A rare opportunity to snag a LLT Roderich for an absolute steal came across my screen and I knew he had to come home to me.

Hooo boy, where do I start?

The dolls were just the beginning. I picked up a cheap sewing machine and taught myself how to make clothing. Wanted nice photos, learned photography and photoshop. Commissioning artists for face ups grew expensive, so I learned how to paint them myself. I wanted custom wigs, learned that. Modding? Learned sculpting. The dolls themselves ultimately led into so many other hobbies. I’ve also learned resin craft, bookbinding, restoration, woodworking, shoe making, crocheting, and probably a bunch of minor things I’m forgetting. That’s why I consider myself a jack of all trades, master of none type crafter and I don’t regret any of it…

The key is trying to convince myself I don’t need to try something else!
