Not sure if someone made this joke before already, but when I saw people calling Jay a Boomer on @/youthin.asia ‘s IG story, it made me think of this happening to Hiccup. xD

Long story short; Hadestown is my favorite musical and I’ve been thinking about how it fits Hiccstrid so well. Hiccup as Orpheus, Astrid as Eurydice. NEED I SAY MORE??? ?

1 year ago today I watched the story of these best buds come to an end. :’)) A true friendship of a lifetime and a story I’ll never tire of talking about. 🐲♥️

I mean,, call me biased but I don’t want another httyd series unless it’s about h e r 💫

Since the beginning of Dawn’s development I knew I wanted to give her a mask and get-up similar to Valka’s armor, who’s in a way mirrors the Bewilderbeast. With Dawn being Valka’s apprentice, it only makes sense. I’m still working out the kinks of the design, but I’m very happy with the mask which is more of a combination between a terrible terror and sand wraith. A testament to the frenetically fierce heart underneath the sturdy exterior she posses, and her skill in speed and stealth. She’s a bit on the short end height wise, but man does her sharp edges pack a punch.

That’s the update on me you probably didn’t ask for.. as for the update on this blog well, I hope to still post dragon-related art on here in the future. I know there’s a short coming about and my oc story I’m striving to start, all of which will be posted here when time allows. ;u;

I love the idea/headcanon that Toothless and the LightFury have more babies later on and couldn’t resist making my own. ;u; Blacktide’s got all the grace of her mother in water, and all the dingus aspects of her father on land. 🖤🌊‬

When a young lass by the name of Dawn loses the tribe, family, and home she once knew, she finds herself taken under the (literal) wing of a dragon and a mysterious dragon vigilante. Befriending the fiercely feared and revered Sand Wraith, Dawn is taught by her new mentor, Valka, the ways of dragons in the home of the Bewilderbeast. Soon, she too becomes a “dragon thief,” going out to save and protect dragons. When an up and coming elite trapper on the rise proves to be dangerous threat to the nest, Dawn makes it her mission to do what she can to stop it (while in search of recovering something(s) she lost on the way).

Headstrong, brave, and persistent, Randulfr is the honey-eyed heir to his father’s throne as Chief of his respected tribe. There’s an air of confidence about him, he can seem borderline arrogant but he’s good-natured at heart. He’s very sociable and lives for the now. He doesn’t take well to his father’s orders/wishes- nor any authority for that matter. Hence where his Rebellious surname came from. A wild child in his youth, Randulfr first crossed paths with Dawn as kids. On a few occasions his tribe would travel to meet hers for important talks of treaties, trades, and such ally chieftain matters. As a boy he tagged along with his father on such trips. During their stay, he’d play with the other kids his age which is where he met Dawn. And.. well... they didn’t get along all that well back then. Up to this point, duty to his tribe pretty much came second only to his true fleeting ambitions. Randulfr’s future has been planned out for him for as long as he could remember. Set in stone. Stuck in an arranged marriage for the sake of politics with the heavy mantle of Chiefdom looming over head, it really is no wonder the young heir is willing to do whatever he can to cherish the little freedom he has left before it’s gone. Which is why when a familiar face is up against a force that may require a little more than one human and two flying reptiles, he nearly jumps at the chance to get away and he won’t take no for an answer.
