Got to go to the Farmer's Market with Charlotte this morning 💕 she's usually not home on the weekends so it was nice to spend time together!

Yesterday I spent a large majority of the day doing yardwork. Which was fine, I enjoyed it. But I was so sweaty and I hate that. The front yard looks a lot nicer now! The back yard is another story 😂

I had the most boring meeting this morning 😴

Afterwards I took myself to the fancy coffee shop for a bit.

My house is a mess, I haven't unpacked my car from camping, we have no groceries.

But we spent the afternoon at the beach and had the best time. Built a sandcastle. Played a game where we tried to see who could push the other person off the paddleboard first. Floated around.

But it was too much sun 🫠 and now I'm so tired and have a headache

Forgot to eat all day, whoops! Emergency pizza to the rescue

Made it to the gym 💪

Skipped running on the treadmill so I could rest my leg though so it was a pretty chill workout.

Slept like shit because my dog shit in my bedroom twice?!

Whyyy

I need to go to the gym today but it's leg day and my left calf is bothering me. Like a month ago I pulled a muscle and it took forever to feel normal again, then yesterday I went hiking which included going up a lot of steps and I guess it got irritated again? I hate bodies

The chillest camp evening ✨

Didn't wake up until my alarm went off at 6:30. Typically I wake up around 5:30. Was having a chill morning- coffee, healthy breakfast, stuff ready to go to the gym after taking Charlotte to her class, cleaned up the kitchen a bit. And then like 10 minutes before we need to leave Charlotte was like, you never hemmed the pants to my costume! So I had to quick do that and of course my sewing machine wasn't set up at all. But I got it done!

Then we go to leave and my van won't start 😑 I had used it the night before to use the air pump to fill the paddle boards and apparently it didn't get turned off all the way? I'm not sure what happened but the battery was dead. So I had to take Marc's truck. And we're like not even a block from our house and Charlotte drops the drink she had and spilled it all over the floor of his truck. I'm like, jfc can anything else happen! Yes- Charlotte has extra long class today (8-2) and forgot to bring a lunch, so we stop at the gas station and she's wandering around there picking something out like girl we are late!!

But she got to class. Marc got my van jump started. I got to the gym. I stopped and got a fancy drink on my way back home as a reward for my crappy morning 😂

Booked a campsite to go camping tomorrow, alone! I haven't gone all year which is way out of the norm for me. I'm excited. Hopefully I will finally finish my stitching project, eat some snacks, read a book and enjoy the quiet nothingness.

Every 4th of July we go to Marc's parents. Their house is on the parade route for the town so they have a party. But it's just gotten worse and worse over the past 10 years (both the parade and the party).

People all over the area just rave about this parade, omg it's so good and we always go and blah blah blah. It's fucking lame as hell and way too long (almost 1.5 hours). It's mostly companies with barely decorated cars, there's like one marching band and usually one truck with a dance team on it and at the very end there's some horses. It's so boring?

And the party used to be fun, lots of people, lots of food, they used to have a pool. Now it's like, his sister's friends and one old couple. The food sucks and everyone is lame as hell.

This year I sat on the porch cross stitching and eating chips (which was honestly fine but could have done that at my own house)

Also, we got invited to another friends 4th of July party in the evening so we stopped by there. And everyone was so boring, we had a couple drinks and then left. Like idk if it's me or if everyone sucks but I can't handle it anymore.

Went on a bike ride this morning. Had to wait for like 30 geese to cross the path at one point. Also saw two fawns and the mama deer in the woods and lots of bunnies 🐇

Marc and I stopped for breakfast burritos before riding home. Nice little 8 mile ride before the rest of the world woke up!

Oh, also I made a reflecting pool jello 😂😂

I had a dream I was at an art class. The art class was "Draw a straight white man" 😂 and we all went around the table saying which man we picked to draw.
