The glitter had finally settled, but it wasn’t the sparkling light of a victory. It was the grey, choking ash of a world that had lost its heart.
The "All-Stars" gathering was never meant to be a funeral. It was supposed to be the ultimate stand, a celestial union of every warrior who had ever donned a transformation item. But The Hollow didn’t care for the power of friendship. It tore through the barriers between worlds, systematically extinguishing the "Precure" light. By the time the final pulse of magic faded, the cost was unbearable. Half of the legendary warriors lay still, their bright costumes stained with the soot of a broken reality.
The temporary medical bay was a place of suffocating silence. Row after row of stretchers held the fallen, a grim mosaic of what used to be hope.
At the center of the gloom lay Akira Kenjou and Yukari Kotozume.
They were once the "Chocolate and Macaron" duo—the noble protector and the elegant queen. In the stories, Akira was the knight who would never fall, and Yukari was the genius who always had a plan. But the reality of the aftermath was brutal. Akira’s crimson coat was shredded, her tomboyish strength spent in a final, desperate shield. Beside her, Yukari’s lavender elegance was matted with dust and dried blood, her poise finally broken by the sheer weight of the void.
They lay side by side, cold and unmoving. Akira’s top hat sat discarded between them, a hollow symbol of the joy they used to bake into the world. Their hands remained inches apart—a final, unfinished reach for one another that the darkness had cut short.
The tragedy echoed down the long line of stretchers. The room was a graveyard of archetypes. To the left lay the "tomboy" Cures—the powerhouses like Nagisa or Rin, who had always charged headfirst into the fray. Their athletic frames were stilled, their shields cracked into useless shards. Across from them were the "girly-girl" Cures, the ones who had fought with ribbons, flowers, and the belief that love could fix anything. Their frilled skirts were scorched, and their lace was torn, proving that even the purest hearts could be pierced.
The survivors didn't offer the usual speeches about "never giving up." There was no upbeat theme music to herald a comeback. The "Pretty Cure" legend had been carved in half, leaving the remaining girls to wander through a forest of ghosts.
As the sun set over the ruins of the city, the remaining warriors looked at the fallen pillars of the KiraKira team. They realized that the sweetness of their world had been replaced by the bitter taste of iron and ash. The light was gone, and in its place was a cold, echoing silence that no transformation sequence could ever break.
