Banban and the Jesters
I have to go public about being a hater. And I mean no offense to those of you in the crowd who are Roblox enjoyers. I understand that it's very difficult to control what your brain fixates on and whatnot. But I find it incredibly weird and off-putting that, coinciding with the rise of public attention on Roblox's inaction on child predation and the corporation's subsequent suppression of any scrutiny, is also a huge rise in Roblox fan content and huge Roblox game based fandoms. Like I feel like these two things went hand in hand because I didn't see nearly as much Roblox fandom stuff before, and it's just very strange to me that people have all of a sudden decided to latch onto Roblox after Everything that has been coming out over the past two or so years. I don't think you're a bad person if you like Dandy's World or whatever but I do think you should be a little more aware of what you're indirectly supporting, especially if you buy Robux or financially support Roblox/Roblox hosted games.
I haven't touched Roblox in about 6 months now and I don't plan to touch it until they get their shit together as a company. It sucks cus there are some games on there I really enjoy, but I think a lot of you need to stand on business too and stop allowing for Roblox's corporate greed to go unchecked by being one less data point on their active users graph. I encourage everyone else to boycott Roblox too. They will continue to change the platform in ways which you are dissatisfied with, and will also continue to not just neglect child abuse facilitated by their platform but also actively suppress court cases meant to get those children justice. You need to stop hyping up these Roblox games bro. There are things more important than Forsaken. This is a gaming platform which I've played since I was 8 years old but I can still recognize when it gets to a point and I can't in good consciousness open up the game client just because I want to play 99 Nights with my pals
When I was younger I used to watch shit tons of VenturianTale videos and because of VenturianTale making jokes about coffee makers being a rich person thing I grew up thinking coffee makers were really expensive and now I'm older and I realize coffee makers are actually surprisingly cheap
