I'm listening to my adorable kids convience their dad why they really need waffles at 8:00pm. Our son protests, "But daddy!" His eyes bright and ready to administer stage 2: @lisafrank eyes.

"I ate all of my dinner except the bacon. I couldn't eat the bacon because lunch was also delicious. 😋

So I ate it all! I even went back for seconds. You see daddy, I ate all my food so I was super full from lunch. Now my tummy is hungry again but only for waffles."

My son pauses, catching his breath. My husband desperately trying to refute the adorable presenter of 5 year old junk food cravings. Food🍮

My son continues, " And daddy, I don't tell my tummy when to sleep. He only tells me when he's hungry."

My daughter is dancing around both brother and dad ringing her hands together in sheer excitement. She is the most adorable kid. I can't help but enjoy her in threse moments because the air around her radiates with a " I've got him in the bag" kind of way.

She always reminds me of a villain in a black in white film from the 40's. She too, rubs her hands together when everything is moving along towards... Late. night. waffles. I laugh. They are amazing with team work, as Amayah princess swirls looking up to dad, with an ear to ear grin. "I will take the bacon brother doesn't want."

I laugh. They are so cool! I love being a mom. #kidstrategy is #perfect
