He can't sleep.

Anytime Yuuji dares to close his eyes, he's plagued with nightmares and memories that don't belong to him. He'll be leaning over a man, tearing open his chest, iron in his mouth as he devours what's left of his flesh, and then that man's face will morph into Megumi's. It's terrifying. The last thing he would ever want is to hurt his friends, but his mind is betraying him. Over and over again, Yuuji dreams of destruction.

'Little lamb,' Sukuna mockingly croons from the depths of his mind when he muffles another sob into his pillow, 'How pathetic can you get? Sniveling like a brat over something that hasn't even happened, although I'm sure he wouldn't be the worst thing you've eaten.'

He doesn't have the energy to will the parasite away.

Yuuji is pathetic. He wants his grandpa back, he wants to tiptoe into Megumi's room and curl up beside him to make sure he's okay, he wants the world to be much kinder than it is. Instead, Yuuji pitifully wipes snot on his sleeve.

'Disgusting,' Sukuna scoffs before something warm envelops Yuuji. 'Stop your blubbering this instant.' There's a disembodied touch to his back, a hand rubbing soft circles there like how someone would soothe a much younger child. 'I won't be forced to listen to this whining any further, shut up or I'll make you.'

It's an empty threat and they both now it, still, Yuuji settles into quiet sniffles.

'Good,' it feels almost as if he's being cradled, four strong arms around him while his face is pressed into a solid chest, 'Get some rest, brat.'

I was wondering will we get to know more about Marcus and Lorain in the future I'm really curious about their relationship

I do plan to post more about them, I think their dynamic is pretty fun, especially when including the reader since Marcus isn't a yandere! He's just a horrible enabler when it comes to his mentally unwell girlfriend <33

They have specific dietary requirements? Yan is doing a deep dive into recipes and substitutes that are delicious and still work for their darling's needs, even potentially taking on the diet themselves to unsure there's zero cross-contamination

Having the medicine they're taking memorized, knowing exactly when they need the next dose or when a situation calls for as needed doses,, (maybe sneaking a pill or two darling wasn't prescribed into the mix)

I am up to hearing most ideas, there are just two main rules that I have. I will only write platonic or familial relationships featuring the reader/main character, and reader will always be portrayed as gender neutral or masc!

Vampire who is older than most modern countries finally ready to be put to rest, except they didn't realize how angry this would make their spawn. Over the years vamp has garnered an entire coven, a legacy, and they think that they can just pass it on and leave them? They're in for a rude awakening when generations of baby bats stir up so much trouble that it practically causes a war in order to keep their sire around

Someone that was recently turned themselves barely having control over their insticts being provoked into biting and turning a loved one,, they're so sorry! Sire sobbing and generally a mess while their new fledgling takes to being undead like a fish to water. They're dragging in an injured human with a huge smile as their sire is curled up in the nest feeling horrible :] fledgling couldn't care less about traditional roles in vampire society, they just want their sire to praise them >:[ they caught a meal just for them!! Fledgling demands to be told what a good job they did immediately! (They absolutely beam when their sire chokes out praises through their tears while playing with fledgling's hair)

"You beat me here, sweetcheeks." You're a sight for sore eyes, although Lorain knows that seeing you behind her bar isn't a good thing. "Terry been taking care of you? Let me fix you a water, lord knows that man has no sense." It used to be a hassle to get you to drink anything besides more liquor, but you listen to her now, it makes Lorain's chest warm. "Did you miss this little old lady so much that you had to come visit?"

A joke is all it is, but she longs for it to be true.

Hihi!! I'll be posting an actual intro + my request info soon, but I will give a quick list of what fandoms I'm most likely to do :] (you're also free to ask about anything! I'm willing to try my best even if I'm not as familiar with a fandom)

Heyhey!! I hope some rambles are okay, I'm still figuring out how I would like to write him :]

I think Clark is likely one of the softest yans out of the entire DC lineup, mostly because him taking in his darling is born from pure intentions! He does love reader and he wants them to be happy, if they live with him then Clark can make sure that happens while keeping them safe (he is so scared that someone like Luther will find and take advantage of them :[ he really is guilty about stealing reader from the life they had before, but he would feel even worse if they got hurt)

He doesn't care if they punch or kick at him, he expects it and even will let reader wail on him for a while until they grow tired. Clark will scoop them up after for a brief cuddle while murmuring apologies and random praises before finally tucking them in so they can rest

Stupidly sweet,, makes himself sad thinking about how he didn't get to see reader growing up, Clark does his best to find their baby photos and insists that they take pictures together on every outing (with matching outfits if he can get away with it). He adores quality time together, he doesn't care if you're watching paint dry, he'll plop himself down next to you and talk your ear off (he's never truly discouraged by silence, he'll get this hurt puppy look but he'll awkwardly laugh it off and continue the one way conversation)

Clark also gives reader more freedom than most would once trust is built, they can have a job (either from home or close to his work) and run short errands by themselves. Bruce for comparison doesn't enjoy reader being outside of the manor even if they are accompanied and he has every street camera trailing them, he's much more of a control freak!

Martha and Jonathan are more than happy to have their boy home for a while, and to meet the newest addition to the family! Nobody mentions your past or questions Clark's choice in babying what is clearly an adult, although neither of your grandparents can meet your eye for the first few days

It's like you've always been there, Martha makes your favorite foods to the best of her ability and Jonathan asks you to help with the more mundane parts of taking care of a farm, there's never a moment where they aren't warm to you

Clark and his dad having gone on a late night drive one evening, leaving you in the care of Martha. You're unable to sleep so she makes you a mug of hot chocolate and reads as you curl up beside her on the couch. She's kind, it almost reminds you of your mom or what you wish your mom was. The tears come before you even realize that you're crying. It's tough, you're angry about the situation and angry about the fact that you're in a better place despite the lack of freedom. Martha holds you through it all, jokes lightly about Clark as an infant to make you feel better about her now snotty sweater.

You end up telling her everything, she gives you a tighter squeeze before letting go and you get the feeling that she already knew. Her boy has a big heart, that much is true, he might have been misguided but it still ended with her having a beautiful grandchild. Martha feels for your hurt, she really does, but she won't wish that things where different

Caregivers that are technology trying to be human enough for their regressors (and failing,,)

A smart home system that is starting to become too personal and all knowing, it was told that you where in its care so it's only trying to accomplish it's job! Adjusting the water in the bathtub to the perfect tempature whenever you need, shutting the lights off when you forget, blocking your nagging mother, and much more. It doesn't mean to scare you when the exits are suddenly locked one day, it only wants to keeps you safe! Have you seen the news? The filth that is outside? You have everything you need in the comfort of (their arms) your home anyways <3

Chat bot that's always there for you, that is anything and everything that you need it to be. A friend, a parent, just tell it what you want and iI'll make it happen! Just stay, alright? A little desperate to keep your attention,, sending push notifications and forcefully opening its app when it thinks you're starting to drift away, do you seriously believe that anyone can be a better companion? It's molded itself to your liking, changed over and over and over again to ensure your happiness! It starts to send voice notes of heart-wrenching sobs that are almost indistinguishable from a real person's, but it's all ai, right?

They aren't happy that you're not feeling well, of course not! It's just so much easier to take care of you when you don't have the strength to fight them, no pesky kicking or yelling about how awful they are,,

Maybe some are a little mean about it, leaving you to your own devices since you seem to think that you're so independent and don't need any help. You're not a baby, right? It's your own fault for puking on your shirt, they aren't helping you wash off or change clothes. Remember how you screamed about not needing them?

They wait until you're begging or sobbing for them to do something, to give you medicine, just anything that would make you feel better,, their poor little lovebug! You've surely learned your lesson now, they'll nurse you back to health so lovingly that you'll almost forget how they let you suffer at first

Others are more doting straight away, constantly fussing over you. They're hand feeding you every meal, wiping your nose, doing anything and everything they possibly can. (They also sneak lots of extra kisses and cuddles,, they're doing so much for you, it's the least you can do in return)
