“Yes Princess?” He asked her letting her take his hands. Still smiling to her he moved closer pressing his forehead to her own. “What is it my brilliant little one?”

How rude she was. The man wasn’t too keen on her tone either but somehow  find it all,… amusing as well ? Regardless, he walked over to the girl and leaned over slightly while glaring his unnatural red in to hers. “ I stubborn kid. ”

The nine year old let out a short, sharp laugh of ridicule upon that statement. ❝Of course, you are! And I’m Cinderella!❞

He moved to hold his daughter hugging her to him as he lifted her up in his arms. Holding her he kissed the top of her head. Moriarty smiled giving her a reassuring smirk.

“Don’t worry, Daddy won’t let that happen. He’ll destroy anyone that tries to take you away from me,” he told her smirking. “Now why don’t I show you how to get rid of a body and how to do it so no one suspects you for it. Note, it helps to have ‘witnesses’ that saw him get kidnapped or murdered.”

Jezebel’s dark hues sparkled with attentiveness as her eyes widened, and her jaw became slack with curiosity as she gazed up at her Father. ❝How do we get t’e ‘witnesses’ to play along, Daddy?❞

She wanted to become the very embodiment of her Father by the time she was his age. He was everything she admired, everything she aspired to be. In no uncertain terms, she worshipped his guidance.

It wasn’t the first time he’d been in the presence of a gun - there were a number or two on the streets who had hold of ones illegally - but never had one deliberately been stuck in his face. Or that closely.

Wiggins’ eyes widened though the rest of him stayed still; freeze, fight or flight. He didn’t know what he should do, really. Or how serious she was - he’d only been joking himself.

“Where’d ya get a gun like tha’?” he asked, hoping the question would distract her finger from pulling the trigger.

Jezebel knew that would shake him. Maybe, next time, he’d think twice before throwing around phrases such as “fight me”.

“ what kind of question is that ?,…” the young man bellowed lowly after using the shadows to pull the book back to him, since it wasn’t entirely in his reach when she threw it. “ You should go find some other things to play with like other little girls .”

If the room hadn’t been so dim in light, she would have noticed the shadows being manipulated around them, but in the darkness, it was almost impossible to see through the dusk. ❝T’e same kind of question one asks after reading what sort of rubbish you’re in to.❞ she offhandedly remarked, gesturing lackadaisically towards the book he held in his hands. She scoffed at the mention of playing with other children. ❝Are you kidding? Do you t’ink I want to hang around wit’ idiots, all day? What do you take me for?❞

Suddenly, Luna’s turned away from the other girl. Her arms are crossed over her chest and with a huff, Luna settled into her own sadness. Why did this other child have to be so mean? Luna was just trying to have a conversation.

Shouldn’t you be reading your ABCs?❞    

❝Mind your own business!❞ Jezebel disdainfully retorted, using small digits to push the man aside.
