this post to get everyone who is interested familiar with the intentions and plans for the server. the most important thing to note here is, the server is still very much a work in progress.
downoverabq is a discord server for rp set in the breaking bad universe. it will hopefully follow an overarching storyline set in the gilliverse, and i would love to hear your ideas about what you would want to see.
what are the requirements to apply?
you must be 21 or over to apply. there isnāt a proper application process yet, but it will most likely follow a similar format to other rp servers iāve seen. for now, you can drop your discord handle in the askbox and iāll be happy to message you about who youād like to play and send you an invite.
just be decent. respect others and their identities. there will be other rules formed of course, but as itās all taking shape the most important thing is that weāre kind to one another. donāt push ides onto anyone or try to single anyone out.
what should i know before going in?
this is still in its really early stages, and iām new to this. i havenāt done much discord rp so iāll have a lot to learn but iām going to do my best. if youāre triggered by topics such as murder, death, or drugs i would strongly suggest reconsidering before you join. breaking bad deals with very dark topics and while iāll do my absolute best to respect everyoneās triggers, thereās still a lot that canāt be changed for the sake of fitting into the universe. also, you can play a character who isnāt in breaking bad, wether thatās an oc or a character from a different piece of media entirely. as long as you can find a way to make them for into the universe believably, throw em in there.
my name is marie, iām 23 and iāve been in the breaking bad fandom for years. iāve been doing mostly brba rp for around six years and have mainly done it on an oc blog. iām rusty since itās been awhile but iāve been hoping to reignite my love for rp.
iām also looking for others to run it with me, since itās a big job, and to be transparent Iām getting married soon. so i would love to have someone whoās hands i know i can leave it in should things get a bit hectic around that time.
