Sabine and MarĂa 🥀
Currently about halfway through "bury our bones in the midnight soil" by V. E. Schwab , and really enjoying the amount of lesbianism so far 🙂‍↕️✨️
(Might not be super accurate, since I've been discovering new information here and there while drawing this lmao)

When summer evenings feel like this gif it’s beautiful and it’s worth it
You swan he deer
I'll never get over the bunnies sending samantha her invitation via origami swan. Like what do you even mean.
"And what a boy is," Vignette says, the legs of her voice spreading even wider.
sure is a line.

Just finished two books by Mona Awad and then went on here and was horrified to discover that the dark academia coquette girlies are romanticizing Bunny. no I don’t want to eat miniature food and murder homunculi with you well now that I’m saying it like that it sounds kind of fun maybe I see the appeal
I think that the critisism of Samantha in Bunny by Mona Awad being an unsufferable "not like the other girls" is a misunderstanding of what makes Samathan different from her peers, the Bunnies. She's not different because she think she is better or more special, she just is.
The Bunnies are described as being both upper class and stereotypically white women. Samantha is contrasted by having a lower class background, broken up parents, dead mother, having to work to survive, but also being much taller than the other girls. The Bunnies are thin, feminine and pale, and while Samathan's description is limited to her hair and height, it is a common reading that she is maybe not white.
Bunny is also a critique of the clicky, elitist environment of post secondary education; the Bunnies are the embodiment of that. Even if they are trying to be nice to her and include her, their airtightness is uninviting. What's the point of creativity if everyone is doing the same thing whithin a group?
Also the Bunnies are very much nlogs themselves. Like wtf is a proem?
