I just found out I can’t donate plasma for emergency funds anyways because went I did the health screening they told me my heart doesn’t sound proper and the beat is off and it’s double beat. It can or can’t be something serious but I’m terrible scared. I have to get a ct scan with a healthcare provider. I also have no funds to pay a hefty ticket that already had an extension on it when I called the court. Someone crossed into my lane as they were pulling out when I was pulling into a parking spot and our vehicles touched. My insurance went up 3 times the price. We both got ticketed. I have to be at court at 9am with NO FUNDS to pay a ticket over some bs. survival mode is causing me to need to go back onto depression medication. I take great care of my dog and cat but am struggling to take care of myself. Anything helps. I’m wondering if the courts can try to help me lower the ticket but it is uncertain. It’s sad lame and hurts to come online for help but it’s where I’m at in life and trying to humble that within myself. please help. even just a r3blog thank you thank you.

It takes a headline about a global war to reveal how fragile your life is. You stop obsessing over your five-year plan and start memorizing the specific sound of your partner stirring their coffee. You will look at the people in your living room and realize how violently careless you were, acting like you had centuries left to spend. It turns out that the boring, quiet moments were the only ones that were ever real.

I am writing these words with tears streaming down my face. I can no longer bear this pain.

My wife is suffering from a severe deficiency in vitamins especially vitamin D and she urgently needs surgery to save her life. Her body is growing weaker day by day, malnutrition is stealing her strength and I stand helpless watching her suffer.

All I wish for is to see her alive and healthy Please help us provide healthy food her medications, and fund the surgery that could save her life.

Strong winds and severe weather have torn apart and blown away many displacement tents across different areas of the Gaza Strip. Partially destroyed homes, already weakened by previous bombardment, have collapsed under the force of the storm. This suffering returns with every storm, and life grows harsher for families in Gaza under this bitter cold.

People are left in the streets after their tents were ripped apart. Others are drowning in rainwater.

Is anyone hearing the sound of the wind besides us?

While children around the world sleep in warmth and safety, completely removed from this brutal cold.

We have spoken repeatedly about Nour’s situation before on this blog, and conditions have only gotten worse for her. To protect her from additional illness and to have a safe and warm space in which to treat her condition, her family needs funds to arrange shelter. In the long-term, they hope to rebuild their home. But for now, they just need to find someplace warm and out of the rain. Their current shelter is a shredded plastic “tent” currently being swamped by frigid winter rain:
