This is most likely my last driving holiday. Managed to travel through Wales, England, France, Germany and Austria in 5 days to reach my birth town. I still can sit for long hours and sleep briefly in the car if needed. So that's good. But my snapshots are really bad. Everything is kept in my memories and don't even feel like writing a blog post. I have to be more positive about my future and not thinking of weakening muscles and impending indignities and death. There is still life to be living, my neurologist said, so... let's get living.

Now, that I am slowly emerging from my initial shock and deep misery after getting my diagnosis (fuck ALS, thank you very much), maybe I should finish my half-baked fic, and let it out into the world. Now, that I am shit-scared, and anxious, I cling to memories. Clinging to the time, last year, spent with friends, in loving environment, being spoiled and being able to enjoy the lifestyles they have. A different world, different nature, where everything is bigger... but there are tiny beauties as well as this visitor to my friend's windowsill. I try to remember only these snippets of beauties and not dwell on the possible future.
