What’s going on?

Peter David (writer of All New X-Factor) announced that the series will be cancelled at issue #20 because sales are low. (source) There are a great deal of people who adore this comic, and we want to share that awesome with everyone else. This is a campaign to lift that cancellation and try to renew the series.

What is being done?

If you care about All New X-Factor as much as we do, we urge you to take action. We are planning on setting up times to attempt to get #SaveANXF trending on Twitter to introduce the series to a wider audience. There are 6 issues left until the series is scheduled to come to an end. If we can raise sales and get Marvel’s attention, perhaps we can save it - or at least increase the possibility of the characters sticking around. We would also like to propose an “All New X-Factor Week” at some point in the near future; participation is encouraged to further spread the word.

your favorite picture of your muse’s fc: I have yet to choose a faceclaim.

  what would be their twitter name? what sorts of tweets would they tweet? Doug would most likely have an amusing form of wordplay as his twitter handle. However, I currently roleplay Doug on twitter under the twitter name @DougCypher.

what’s their favorite genre of movies? of music? Heavily into Science fiction and had a guilty pleasure for Super-hero flicks growing up. He often favors movies with deep sub-textual meaning and complex narratives as they are more interesting for him to read whilst watching.

what’s on their top queue on netflix? Shows from 2006/7-2012/13. This was the period Doug was dead and he has been recently trying to catch up on everything that he missed.

what’s their favorite scent? do they smell like that? Complex and intricate odours which contain scents from a range of different sources

apple or android? Doug would prefer the open-source software and customization of android platform and would find the forced limitations of iTechnology a pet peeve. Despite the fact that he could easily circumvent them, he sees no reason for Apple to force their consumer into using their specific compatible products. Ideally, he would rather code his own operating system for his mobile communication platform.

favorite season? least favorite season? Winter would be his favourite by default as Doug prefers attire suited for the cold. Although he has probably not particularly spent much thought on the matter, Summer would be his least favourite due to extrapolation upon the same aforementioned reasoning.

virginity or no virginity? Doug has not lost his virginity in canon. It may have happened off-screen whilst extremely intoxicated with Roulette at the Hellfire Club party, but it was implied that they did not get that far.

describe their morning routine. do they wake up early or sleep in? do they press the snooze button a bunch of times or do they immediately get up? Doug’s morning routine consists of standing up from his computer desk and shutting the curtains upon the realisation that that the sun has risen whilst making a mental note that the day has begun. He then goes back to typing on his computer.

if they were to be compared to a canon character, who would that be? He is a canon character.
