Our new favorite TV show is a Japanese program in which Kaiju and space aliens from Ultraman stroll around different parts of Japan, sightseeing and eating local cuisine. It’s called Ultra Kaiju Sanpo (”sanpo” means “walk” or “stroll” in Japanese) and instead of trying to conquer these cities and towns, these monsters are busy enjoying the heck out of them.

“The kaiju talk and interact with each other like your typical Japanese celebs, cracking silly jokes, and eating ramen. Japanese comedians Tokyo03 provide the voices—and the wisecracks—for the kaiju and the aliens.”

One of the best things about Kaiju Sanpo is that the show is produced by This clever show is from Tsurubaya Productions, the same company that makes Ultraman, so all these awesome monster costumes are the real deal.
