hi! yes i can explain as a plural person myself.

plurality is the state of multiple people sharing a single body, commonly referred to as headmates. a group of headmates is referred to as a system!

headmates are as unique and individual as they want to be! usually a headmate will have their own name, pronouns and identity. there ARE exceptions to this, as plurality is a wide range of experiences.

some systems have a headspace! a headspace is a place within well. a systems head, that members of the systems can visit, and often interact with each other! some people's headspaces are very simple, whereas others can be very complex.

some useful terms are

singlet: a person who is NOT plural alter: another word for headmate, however it has medical connotations, and is usually used by systems who were created by trauma and/or have a dissociative disorder related to their plurality DID: a dissociative disorder listed in DSM-V and ICD-11, and the most well known form of plurality. this is a good place to learn about it from a plural perspective origin: how the system formed! people have. a lot of discourse over whether systems who form through means other than trauma and dont have a dissociative disorder are "real systems". and by the way the answer is Yes they are. its bad when systems do it, so especially dont as a singlet act like some systems aren t real based on origin.

and i think those are the things you Generally need to know. if you want to learn more, pluralpedia is a good resource for learning what specific terms mean, and this video may help you understanding more since it's better constructed than my post.

are allies allowed to contribute?

are people allowed to contribute anonymously? (I'm a system but am EXTREMELY not out and therefore if non-systems aren't permitted to contribute, I would have to contribute under a pseudonym or not at all)

im unsure about allies being allowed to contribute at this moment. id like for the zine to focus mostly on plural artists and writers . BUT! i may let singlets apply while stating that plural applicants will be HEAVILY favored over singlets. and i would probably take more time to review their pieces just to make sure nobodys making anything Terribly pluralphobic. this is less relevant to you since youre asking from the perspective of a closeted plural but. i just wanted to answer thoroughly...

Possible things to be included in the zine

-Art and writing about canonically plural characters. -Art and writing about people's plural headcanons of characters. -Art and writing about systems real life experiences.

Other details

-The zine would be a free digital zine most likely. -This would be open to systems of any origin, and people who do not accept non-traumagenic system origins would not be accepted as contributors.

TIME: the time the piece takes will take depends on how busy i am, and how complex tthe piece is, but i will when ordering try and give you a good idea of how long it should take.

OTHER: i may add an extra charge if a piece requires complex posing or perspective, or something else that is extra difficult to draw. THIS should not be relevant to most commissions and i will tell you when this is the case.
