A lot of people care about this because it makes them uncomfortable and to each their own.

Naturally I'm of the opinion that the idea that adults are the only human beings allowed to explore their sexuality is a major fallacy driven in large part by Catholic moral purity culture (and more recently the liberal adoption of it via tiktok) and that if you don't want certain people interacting with your content, block them when you catch it.

Still, "mdni" in and of itself isn't some sort of ridiculous notion. Especially for more popular creators.

I know when I was 17 specifically I avoided following certain creators or liking their posts because I didn't want to be caught having an interaction. It *is* useful for the creator's peace of mind and that's important.
