Just Keep Swimming

Yuna blinked a couple times before she put her arms around Dory. “Any reason you wanted to come back here? I-I mean, it’s not that great.”

"I like it here." she whispered as they moved in and she pulled her towards the couch.

"Good.. Good," she smiled a little bit, opening the door to her apartment for her.

Dory smiled and stayed against her as they moved into the apartment.

"You okay?" Yuna asks curiously, tilting her head a little bit.

"I'm great." she whispered and curled tight against Yuna "I'm great."

"N-nothing," she giggled nervously with a smile. "I love you!" Yuna pursed her lips with a laugh.

"I love you too." she said with a smile, her voice small compared to normal.

Yuna almost opened her mouth to say something before Dory winked at her, but her mouth snapped shut and her cheeks flushed with a strong blush. She gave Dory’s hand a gentle squeeze, laughing a little bit.

She grinned softly as she squeezed her hand, watching her as she watched in return. "W-What?" she whispered.

Yuna raised her eyebrow a little bit with a kinda silly smile. “Oh yeah,” she nodded, “Definitely.”

She giggled and winked at her as she pulled her quickly behind her, skipping as they went.

"Thank you," she chimed easily with a semi-happy tone, tugging Dory along. "What do you wanna do?"

"Can we go back to your apartment?" she questioned her and smiled as she watched.

When she smiled, Yuna couldn’t help but smile, too. “I’m sure we will figure out someday. Come on, let’s go do something fun,” she murmured happily, stepping forward and taking Dory’s hand.

She grinned and squeezed her hand tightly. "Of course we will." she smiled at the woman and followed along behind her.

Dory stood quietly in the doorway and looked at her. “B-B-But…” she started, her lip quivering “but I-I’m h-here…”

Yuna suddenly felt like her breath was taken away from her as she threw the papers aside and jumped off the desk. “No, no, no, I didn’t…

Yuna rocked back and forth on her heels, a sigh letting itself through her lips. She looked around the office as she spoke, then looked at her. “How do you.. suppose we do that?”

"I..." She started "I'm not sure but it's me." She smiled softly.

"Mmmmhm," she murmured, slipping her hands into her pockets with a smile.

She continued to follow her, giggling.

As they approached the apartments, she unlocked and opened the door for her friend. Felix, as promised, came running to the door to greet them.

She giggled softly at the dog and bent down, petting the dog softly.

Dory giggled and smiled at her. “No. That’s you.” she whispered, her nose scrunching up from the kiss.

"I mean it, Dory," she said through a laugh. "You really, really are. And I don’t want to lose you." The last part came out kind of quiet, but she meant it with everything she had.

Dory grinned and curled into her. "I can't lose you either."

Dory stood quietly in the doorway and looked at her. “B-B-But…” she started, her lip quivering “but I-I’m h-here…”

She frowned softly, looking at her with wide, worried eyes. "Maybe I can help."

Dory stood quietly in the doorway and looked at her. "B-B-But..." she started, her lip quivering "but I-I'm h-here..."

"Mmmmhm," she murmured, slipping her hands into her pockets with a smile.

She continued to follow her, giggling.

Yuna kissed her nose, smiling a little bit. She hummed quietly, still running her fingers through Dory’s hair. “You’re amazing.”

Dory giggled and smiled at her. "No. That's you." she whispered, her nose scrunching up from the kiss.

"You’re weird. I was just trying to be friends and you don’t wanna be…" She mumbled, starting to wander a little instead of staying on track.

"But friends are awesome." She said as she continued walking. "Home? But what if this is her home? It's my home. Maybe she feels it's hers too."
