I'm just emptying my brain for other purposes.

My coach had me train with his wife Mel for about 4 weeks with the hope that a different voice might help with my 3 turns. And it mostly did. Even got some improvement on my back spin.

I won't be able to do my skating test until September now, however, as I quit my job. And you need both club membership and ice skating Victoria membership on top of the actual test registration fee. I also have to pay for Brian's coaching fee. It's going to cost about $300 for around 6 1/2 minutes of skating.

So I'm going to use my tax return for it. Once that is done and dusted I'm going to be concentrating on skating programs.

I'm getting pain in my good knee. Which is making working on sit spin difficult.

My loop jump still sucks. But is okay enough that Brian is having me working on flip.

I have a new skating bag. Its significantly bigger than the previous one. I should be able to get a couple of days worth of clothes in there. So far it's working well. I've been able to adjust the straps alot better and it feels like a lot less strain on my back. My only real issue is I don't like what it's made of. But for just under $40 its a small quibble.
