Sketches of my silly little vampire lady from my lunch breaks last week that I forgot to post. I tried coloring her with pens by mixing different colors to get close to her actual pallet, but unfortunately her hair turned out more purple looking than pink like I intended.

I based Tara off of Toto from the Wizard of Oz books, so I felt that naturally she had to have her Dorothy, so here are a few sketches of Tara and her adoptive sister Diana from around when they were first getting to know each other.

To make the edgy backstory nice and short, Tara was a delinquent from Mantle who often got in trouble for petty crimes and fighting for money, adopted by Diana’s family as a guard dog for her since Diana, much like Dorothy, didn’t have the heart harm another person let alone fight Grim.

Like Jaune, Diana came from a family of Huntsmen and dreamed of being one as a way to feel closer to her late parents. She treated the work of a Huntsman more like a fun job however, so her uncle and aunt sought out someone to act as her shield so she could play out her fantasy since her guardians couldn’t talk her out of it no matter how they tried.

None of my ocs are allowed happiness, so of course Tara loses Diana, throwing her right back into her reclusive and emotionally repressed self after Diana had successfully taken down Tara’s walls in their short time together.
