Digital painting of a pigeon I photographed in Taiwan (2019). Originally intended as a short 'n' sweet render exercise, I ended up liking it and clocking in about 13 hours. Obviously including time spent crying, because painting is hard. Fairly certain I could bring that number down. As this was only my second time painting I was still figuring out technique and brushes on the fly (bird pun, not sorry)

Wasn't really in a drawing mood the past week or so. Figured a new method might fix that. So I tried shape carving/digital painting. Turns out that kickstarted me into hyperfocus and I forgot to eat
