hm honestly i think it depends on the company and how big they are? i think during my undergrad i worked at like 4 internships + 1 unpaid research lab role and i vaguely remember all my interviews being super casual - but that also might be because they were desperate in hiring interns (or that they were all small and local haha)

are you a first year? i would see how your current workload feels before applying to anything just so you're not overloading your plate with any unnecessary stressor !! if you're sure you can handle some extra hours then next step is going over your resume / cover letter. just keep things relative to the position you're applying to and normally metrics speak louder than words.

and if you manage to score an interview - i would def ask questions towards the end !! younger me would've skipped this step because i hated interviews but honestly the more questions you ask the more interested you'll appear to the panel and that's good !!

but honestly i don't think most internship interviews will roast you that hard because they'll know you're a college student haha they'll give you a lot of leeway unless it's for a higher paid role

hmm i've played around with the idea of a protective/jealous ratio but in this fic i can't really seem to pin that image on him ... not that he's incapable of feeling those emotions, but more so i see him being extremely secure when he's around MC. in his mind, unless someone is overstepping MC's boundaries, he trusts her to handle the situation - if that makes sense?

i've been better than before haha im trying to get back into the regular swing of things with hsr and genshin updates happening ;;;; and i've figured a whole new layout would help with the motivation boost too hehe

"I'm well aware." Veritas threads through the locks once more, eyes focused yet soft as he takes in the sight. "We can always reschedule."

"Rescheduling dinner because you won't stop playing with my hair? Sounds a bit excessive, don't you think?"

Veritas huffs from behind, though it's more out of humor than frustration. "Nonsense, we've already met with team earlier this week. The added dinner serves no purpose other than wasted time and company-covered meals." He pauses, fingers playing at the end strands before adding, "I'm also merely assessing the condition of your hair, that's all."

"Okay, okay," you roll your eyes, giggling. "And what's the outcome of that assessment?"

"It's healthy, strong, has a nice scent," Veritas leans forward. "And prefers the leftovers in the fridge."

and funny story but I guess I have been trying to write more because a girl at work happens to also write fics and we met up in a cafe just last weekend to try and lock in with our wips LOL

on the brighter side I’ve been feeling a lot more indulgent this year and ordered an art comm for myself that’s in the works 👀👀👀 very excited to share that when that arrives !!
