ltf should not be working on a kid's show

For anyone who doesn’t know, Ami Guillén, also known as lemonteaflower, is working on a new short series from Cartoon Network called Villainous. A lot of people have seen the shorts released so far and have agreed it’s a wonderful show, however a lot of people (such as myself) have problems with the fact that lemonteaflower works on the show.

The problem is that lemonteaflower has drawn multiple pieces of art depicting pedophilia, used to repeatedly and unapologetically use the slur f*ggot, and mismanaged the development for a show that was supposed to be “Ms. Officer and Mr. Truffles”. Everything she has done has been updated and linked here. It’s honestly a shame because a lot of people see potential in this show and loved seeing the shorts. However, I believe there is something that can be done about it.

Cartoon Network has, in the past, let go of people who were caught being hurtful. The biggest example is that CN let go of Clarence’s creator when it was revealed that he was sexually harassing women within the company. I believe that if we can bring this information to CN’s attention and let them know that many of us are upset by employing her, we can have her removed from the show.

LTF also used to use F slur repeatedly. She used to even go by the name “LiveTheF*ggotry” before she was known as lemonteaflower. She did this for quite sometime, and if someone corrected her on her inappropriate use of the word, she either ignored it or brushed it off.

I make this post in response to it being revealed that LTF is currently working on a kid’s show Villainous. She even states this in her about on her blog. I firmly believe that LTF should not be working on a children’s show considering her track record of drawing pedophilia, inappropriately using homophobic slurs, and after running one of the biggest examples of mismanagement for a show I’ve ever seen. Not only that, but considering she has a tumblr (where a fanbase undoubtedly will grow for this show), I believe she shouldn’t be interacting with the minors of it, as it could be unsafe for them. I not only want to call people’s attention to it, but also want to work on presenting this to the staff behind Villainous and Cartoon Network. It’s honestly dangerous for her to be on this show.

(And before someone comes at me trying to explain how LTF deserves a “second chance” after messing up, drawing so much child porn is not something you can just come back from nor is it a simple mistake. It’s something dangerous, it’s illegal, and it’s often used to groom other children. Besides, someone with a track record with pedophilia shouldn’t have a second chance working on a children’s show.)
