Did like 4-5 hours of yard work with a full face of make up.

But there's one for each month and there's a different one for the Chinese New years where each year's got an animal based on a race that happened at the beginning of time or something.

I had put all the hints in the wrong order... as in.. all the hints were on top of the answer to the riddle. So I had to fix them. After the hunt had begun. So imagine twelve year old me going:

NOBODY LOOK WHILE I FIX MY PUZZLE!!!

And then proceeded to go to all the locations of the scavenger hunt... in order... so I could properly place all the hints.

The prize at the end was another riddle. Because I was 12 and had no money. And also I really loved puzzles.

Like over a year ago. I really like doing obscure costumes, but maybe this one is too obscure? I still want to do it but man I am lacking the motivation to get any actual stuff together

Basically you make a custom hoop skirt to the proportions of your character then suspend them over your head by a pole attached to a backpack frame. Savage used something closer to what band geeks use for carrying heavy instruments around. But what I have is the skeleton of an old hiking bag.

Jesus that's still a terrible costume for momo. But if you see the shelf strapped to her back that's basically what the backpack is but with two poles going up the back to just past the shoulders. Which is what I will (somehow????) attach the top of the hoop skirt to. And also there will be a useless shelf on my ass.

The head piece would work something like manray's helmet if manray was part giraffe. The front half of the colander neck will be a mesh see through situation. All i have for that is some plastic embroidery mats painted black.

Can't I look hot as hell and go watch bluey in someone's living room while we talk about how our week's going?
