First pass on Cole's half half orc design (quarter orc, but that's not as fun to say). Definetly need to dumb it down to..yk...do multiple drawings without dying. This was a testing sketch for my new tablet, and ill say, i actually had a lot of fun with it. Praying my new tablet treats me well.

This guy is becoming a favorite of mine.

Despite the, yk, complete lack of any character depth.

Season 4 of Dragons Rising got me thinking... He really did become the exact kind of guy to fall for young Lloyd's snake prank.

Just two boys and their lichtenberg scars 💞

Yes, this is a fanart+oc but it is not shipping so we're safe. I just randomly noticed that my oc, Jupiter, has lichtenberg scars and a parent who experimented on him and Danny most likely has lichtenberg scars and his parents actively try to experiment on him. So I imagined the two of them bonding over their messed up parents and then showing each other their scars.

You can see a few of my headcanons rearing their heads in this, but for the most part I tired to stick with Danny's og design.

Agelaius needs more love in his character design and silhouette work, so I thought today would really suit him as his character overall is very Monochrome feeling. He sort of carries that Batman, emo guy vibes. To be honest, I think I might have accidentally mushed every Batkid including batman himself together to form this character...

I think I should go back to the days when I sketched on paper and rendered on digital because wow this was so much easier.

Okay mARTch stuff done now I'm going to talk about my oc.

Alek (aka Undertow) is sorta newer than the other two main characters in this story (by that I mean he was someone else entirely). So he's going through his character design arc right now. He's meant to be a second or third generation aquatic humanoid, but I am having a hard time finding a balance between attributes. This time around, I gave him a gator tail and added external gills like axolotls have! I think I really like the external gills but I am not sold on the tail. Nor am I happy entirely with his clothes. I like his shirt, but I'm having a hard time with everything else because I don't want to aquaman him.

I do really love his hair style, but I'm still finding the proper length. For a hot second, he had funky fins on his arms and legs, but I thought about it and objectively they would *not* help him swim as a humanoid. I'm going through all the herpetology I know trying desperately to make a sci-fi, cyberpunk+steampunk, punkrock shark boy.

Ranging in the right corner are civilians in the story (most are students, so I have them different writing utensils) and then in the left are villains, so they're all using their powers n stuff. The bottom three are the heroes in the story.

Getting started on this one was a literal pain. Until I decided I would study my character's relationship with food. He's a little guy (and by that I mean he is a shark/gator man) who can only eat meat, so I decided yeah why not draw him chowing down on some (raw) meat! I have... never drawn meat before.

Also the stupid angle and his stupid hair and his stupid little face.
