i think an underused trope is Not Found Family: when a group of people go through something but they still don’t even like eachother

Thinking about how in Naruto Asuma and Kurenai got all the clan kids vs Guy and Kakashi got all the fucked up orphans and basically became their parents by default, so when Guy and Kakashi are like “my kids” blah blah blah, Asuma and Kurenai are like you shouldn’t call them that they’re ninja treat them with respect, and Guy and Kakashi are like wtf and realize they are in two very different worlds

you’re going to love again, find a job again, create art again, do what you love again, feel powerful again. you’re going to be back on track. i don’t know when, but you are going to feel like yourself again, eventually. this isn’t the end. hang in there.
