“Okay, probably the best way to go. I’ll head this way and you take that way and we’ll meet in the middle.”

“That seems like a good plan to me. --- But wait. Should we go and be sneaky like ninjas or act normally?”

“Well, I’ll be here first thing in the morning.”

“I’ll be sure to be here as well.”

“Sometimes getting lost in our own worlds are the best thing. Leave the stress outside and you’ll find something more exciting.” she smiled back at her and took her hand to shake it. “Nice to meet you Dominique, I’m Skye.”

“Exactly. At least it is something I clearly believe on. Stress is a terrible disease of our generation,” she said, offering the woman a small smile, shaking her hand back. “Nice meeting you, Skye.”

“I tend to have that effect on people.”

“I guess you do. Are you already used to the life at Bayside?”

“Sitting…?”

“Right. I just thought...nevermind.”

“Magical, sure. But it’s a busy time for me at work. Plus I gotta worry about Christmas presents for the little sis, and that is not an easy feat. What do teenage girls even like these days?”

“You work way too much and way too hard, Andrew. Even Oliver have a break from time to time I have no idea what teenage girls like. Justin Bieber, maybe?”

“The answer was trying to make you laugh, but it apparently didn’t work.”

“Sorry. I was a bit too surprised by that.”

“Does the weather change you this time of year?” Andrew asked after hearing her mention it.

“You don’t? It’s Holiday season!!! It’s a magical time.” The blonde grinned wide.

“What does it look like I’m doing?”

“I....don’t know?”

“I know, I know. But I like taking care of you. It’s part of being your husband.” He pulled her tighter to him. “If I’m being honest, you’re the only married lady. Yesterday I had to walk Mrs. Jenkins down the street because I’m nice.” He chuckled, “It was okay. We have a couple people staying in the inn while Fall lasts so I say business is good. Tiring, but good. How about yours?”

“You do it very well. In more ways than others, if I am being honest.” She grinned. ”So there is no need to be worried about it.” Resting her head to his shoulder, she let out a small sigh. “You nice? I am sure you were just waiting her to give you a lollipop.” She teased. “That is good, I am sure your aunt is happy about that. It was interesting, a few people stopped by and I think I made a friend?”

“That’s what I was doing, but he kept running off on me.” Andrew placed the dog back on the ground and looked expectantly at the canine. “Don’t dislocate my arm this time, buddy.”

“He is probably just too excited to be walking around people. Or it’s the whole weather, it normally changes people during this time of the year.” The blonde said, smiling softly at the man.

“Not shoplifting.”

“You do know that, by saying it out loud doesn’t take away the fact that you are, right??”

“Bookstore? Well that’s interesting. I’m not going to deny that I’ve spent more than one evening searching through the shelves.” She smiled and sipped off her coffee. “Healthy drug, right?” she grinned.

“I will admit that I’ve done the same many many times by now. Sometimes my husband has to go drag me out of there because I lose completely idea of the time.” She smiled, shaking her head. “I like to think it is the healthiest we can think about.” She nodded. “I am Dominique.” The blonde said holding her hand out for the woman.

“Exactly what it looks like– I’m carrying my dog.”

“He doesn’t look too happy. Shouldn’t you be taking it for a dog, instead?”

“And where does my ego end up if you did? Very proud. So proud I would curl up and cry.” He smiled again, “No, just the married ones.”

“Oh shut it, handsome. You know you take good care of me as it is.” She grinned, pressing a kiss to his jaw. “I better be the only married lady, then.” She teased. “How was your day?”
