In almost every tech museum I've ever been to, the tech is just the housing and interface parts. All the guts are stripped out and recycled. You're not going to go to the Wright-Patterson AFB Museum of Aerospace Engineering and see a fully functional SR-71 sitting in the main hangar that you could climb inside and switch on, ignite the engine, and then crash it into the NASA shuttle across the way. Right?

So then why, oh why, at the Militech expo building, is there a fully combat ready CHIMERA bot, armed, equipped with combat and repair drones sitting in that small enclosed space? How did they get it in there? Why wasn't it put to use during the war? It seems the building is inaccessible outside this mission, and we only see Barghest goons patrolling around it. The inside when we get there is dusty. So it clearly wasn't being used to sell tech.

New personal theory: GNRs are likely the descendants of military survivors who rallied around a radio station because it was actually somewhat fortified, and served as a valuable resource to keep communications open across the southern commonwealth.

They ran the Minutemen out of Quincy for the resources, and to flank the super mutant stronghold between the two locations. Minutemen are a volunteer militia, and don't like how the gunners keep trying to privatize security, and that's a big part of the friction between the factions before Fallout 4 even starts.

In The Hunt for Red October, a Russian naval captain and his officers are attempting to defect to the USA with the stealth nuclear submarine "Red October". Their trade off with the Americans is almost foiled by a Russian special forces KGB agent posing as the ship's cook.

In Under Siege, An American warship with nuclear missiles is hijacked by terrorists attempting to steal the warheads. They are fought off by a former Navy Seal who's now the ship's cook.

Case in point: he was an auditor and accountant hired to look at numbers to make sure the estimated value of each company was accurate before a merger was finalized.

The thing about that is, you're not reviewing every job a company has taken on in detail. Mr. Reese was not the head of an auditing team. He was a single auditor, which would suggest his job was pretty straightforward. Examine the revenue streams of each company and compare their revenue to their expenditures, examining if a revenue or expense is ongoing, a single instance, or discontinued, etc.

Even if that meant reading tags on money to identify it it was a military contract, a medical contract, a tech venture, etc wouldn't result in him seeing images of top secret research. So. My thinking is, Mr. Reese would have only seen those images if he went snooping.

And he didn't seem like the kind of man who would have just snooped out of curiosity. He seemed like an opportunist. Someone who made a living stealing sensitive research and selling it, or possibly someone who'd already done that somewhere else, and got recruited to be a spy to avoid penalties with that company.

But since we never see that avenue of corporate espionage play out, I'm inclined to believe that story arc was not intended by the time the movie hit.

Which means Coleman Reese was a very flimsy plot point to hinge an entire story arc on.

A better person would have been one of the contractors Bruce hired to reinforce and expand the Bat cave. Someone who might have figured out where the Batmobile keeps disappearing to, and when Joker goes on air threatening a new death every day until the Batman is unmasked, tries to come forward until the joker announces the hospital threat.

So like. Khorne worshippers regularly fight one another in blood duels. Mercy optional. Nurgle followers share diseases. Tzeentch followers are often solitary because they can't tell each other the date of the actual meetings… and Slaanesh is all just bdsm orgies

But literally the thing they all require as a transaction for daemons or other powers is just blood sacrifices.

Sure, you might flavor the rituals with their style (a battle festival culminating in the most powerful champions to survive a week of constant battle slaughtering any other survivors… or a torture fest for Slaanesh where all the offerings are sent screaming into the void at the last moment, etc). But they're all still, essentially blood sacrifices.

Okay, they don't have to worship Chaos Undivided, or be Lorgar's Daughters." but I do think it'd be an interesting way of showcasing the ways Chaos creates perversions or mirrors the Imperium whenever it can. Yeah, power armor is harder to come by, but are we really going to pretend like Chaos factions don't ever hijack forge worlds, steal shipments of goods, or strip armor from slain foes?
