Charles P Brady, his wife Anna Anastasia Scolastica Burns Brady, she is holding their youngest son John Michael, in front are Anna Hildegard on the left, and Mary (Mae) Elizabeth Brady (my grandmother). “Charles Brady was walking north on Hartville street from Allegheny avenue on his way home, one of the partly burned row, when he saw flames shooting from the dye works. He ran to his house and, entering it, reaching the second floor in a few bounds. There he found his wife, half fainting from fright and half unconscious from the smoke, trying to save some of her affects while clinging to her dress were her little children. Brady carried his wife downstairs and out a rear door then returned for the children.
