Like I literally have (actively) used this internet website since before it became a phone app. It feels so bizarre to use my phone for this but I feel like I need to get used to it…anyway clearly I’m looking to reconnect to the millennials of tumblr. PLEASE. October is #Dysautonomia Awareness Month. Say it with me: dis-auto-NO-me-ah. POTS stands for Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. I have the hyper-adrenergic variety. My sub-diagnoses include gastroparesis, fibromyalgia (EDS is suspected), CVID/MCAS, CFS, and endometriosis. Wtf do all of these words and acronyms mean? PLEASE google them because I'm waaay too sick and tired to explain 💙 We cannot be cured if there is not awareness. It took me 14 years to get correctly diagnosed. I don’t expect anyone to read this. I just needed a place (besides my pen-and-paper journal) to write. I deactivated my facebook account a month ago, and have now deactivated my main twitter account and will decide within the 30 days they give you whether or not to re-activate it, or delete it forever and start a new one. I just don’t have the energy or wellness to argue. Speaking my mind seems really appealing at the time, but as soon as you hit that Tweet button, you’re at the mercy of the moronic masses. For me, it’s not just the Trump supporters, but those that sat this election out, and those who voted for a 3rd party candidate.

The only people that did the right thing during this Presidential election are the people who voted for Hilary Clinton. End. Of. Story. If you did ANYTHING else...you helped Donald Trump become president. It’s as simple as that. I deeply admired Bernie and still do but protesting the election was not an option for me because I knew the only outcome is what ultimately happened. President. Trump. I can’t make it any clearer.

Anyway. Today has been spent in bed watching New Girl. I’m trying to catch up to the current season. Obama said the sun would rise today but it’s been dark, cold, and gloomy; a stark contrast to yesterday’s unseasonably warm, sunny, bluebird sky-day. I’m at a total loss. I have very few friends left in the “real” world. Most are not even accessible to me so I rely on the internet for outside contact. Well. Without facebook or twitter, I find myself back here. Not necessarily even to interact with people. I just need a place to think out loud, and I’m not particularly comfortable with blogging on my actual website just yet. So here I am, Tumblr. I know things have changed a lot around here (or maybe it’s me that has changed), but maybe something good can come of this.

When I first joined, I was here for the Philadelphia Flyer’s fandom. Fortunately I found people who shared other similar interests and we got to talk about them, but for the most part I ~literally~ was here to live blog games, share pics and videos and flail a lot over hockey players. It was REALLY fun. But that’s not where I am in life anymore so I’m not sure I have a place here on tumblr anymore, which is actually fine at the moment. I might add new people. I might start interacting. I don’t know yet. All I know for sure is that I’ve never felt more isolated or less optimistic in my entire life.

If you’ve read this entire entry which could perhaps be the first of many, then I am very impressed. Again, I’m just writing for me, so I apologize if this isn’t entertaining. Our lust for entertainment may have a huge hand in what happened last night, however. So. I shall embrace this lapse into boring-ness.
