Dallas Winston handled you like he handled everything else in his life—hard, fast, and without asking permission. The boy was restless, always buzzing with that street-sharp energy, and his hands were never still when you were around. He didn’t see it as rough; to him, it was just the natural way of keeping you close.

You’d be talking to someone at the lot and he’d appear behind you, arm snaking around your waist to haul you back against his chest with enough force to knock the breath out of you. If you tried to pull away teasingly, he’d tighten his grip, fingers digging into your side. “Where you think you’re goin’?” he’d drawl, voice low and smoky.

Driving the T-bird, he never just rested a hand on your thigh—he gripped it, thumb pressing hard enough to leave little crescents in your skin, steering with one hand while the other claimed you. When he wanted you closer on the couch at Buck’s, he’d grab your wrist and yank you straight into his lap, arranging your legs over his like you were a doll he could position however he liked.

He’d pin you against the wall of the alley when things got heated, one forearm braced beside your head while his free hand tilted your chin up roughly so he could kiss you deep and messy. Sometimes he’d bite your lower lip just hard enough to sting, then smirk against your mouth when you gasped. If you were taking too long getting ready, he’d toss you over his lap on the bed, swatting your ass with a sharp crack while laughing at your protests.

Even softer moments weren’t soft. He’d ruffle your hair into a mess with his calloused fingers, or hook an arm around your neck to drag you in for a noogie that turned into a tight hug. When you wore his jacket, he’d yank the collar to pull you in for a kiss, nearly lifting you off your toes.

You’d trace the fresh bruises on your hips later, giving him a look. “You’re gonna break me one of these days, Dal.”

He’d just flash that crooked, dangerous grin, cigarette smoke curling around his face. “You’re still standin’, ain’t ya? Means I ain’t doin’ it right yet, sweetheart.” Then he’d reach out and tug you close again, hands already sliding down to squeeze possessively, like he couldn’t help himself.

Because with Dallas, love wasn’t gentle touches and sweet words. It was being manhandled, claimed, and kept right where he could feel you—warm, safe, and his.
