I’m learning how to take up space… tenderly 🦢ིྀི ⋆｡ﾟ☁︎｡⋆｡˚
This summer I’ve been learning how to make room for myself amongst people. I’ve always labeled myself as a person usually in the background of social events until I find my little group of people (mostly of two or three). Despite that, I feel like I’ve been growing in being less harsh on myself in things I’m usually bad at (being social), and instead focusing on the good things about it. It leads me not only to be comfortable with myself and what I’m capable of, but also make room for that improvement I wasn’t aware of until now. I’m so much more open to people I’d normally shrink away to. And whenever it gets too much, or when that person that’s out of my league tries to connect with me and I do end up shying away, I don’t internally hurt myself, but instead turn that hurt into acknowledgment and patience.

For my name it was a nickname I was giving back in middleschool! One of our teacher had a system where we worked with 'wifi' eachtime we talked in class we lost a bar of the "wifi" (was a weird joke and we never held count on that) All the kids usually joked if they needed 'wifi' , they would borrow mine if they wanted to talk more. (I was incredibly shy in middle school, I only talked to like 3 people at school;^;)
They called me Ms. Wifi because of that. I just thought it would be funny if I put 'miss' instead of 'ms' because of my terrible actual wifi connection I have at home lol.

I've always been kind of obsessed with these macabre things, so one day, when I was accompanying my mother to her work (as a nurse), when it was time to leave the hospital I passed by the morgue and took a peek inside, I came across some corpses in the dark room. Later, I was on Pinterest and saw an image that said "prettiest girl in the morgue" and I automatically remembered that and thought "hm, really, inside a morgue full of corpses I would be prettier"; and when I went to put my username here, I thought about that, because I wanted my blog to be a reflection of my personality and the things I like.
Initially, the first part of my username came about a manga. I became curious particularly of an expression used as, ドキドキ. After searching it up, I ran into the video game, Doki-Doki Literature Club. I've heard the name roam around different social media platforms but didn't put much attention to it. As I surfed into wiki’s information about the anime, I took Doki-Doki’s expression and cut it in half.
That left me with Doki! Not only did it sound cute to me but it was also poetic how the expression is only half, half of life itself. Cut suddenly and waiting for the second half- almost like it’s trying to prove it’s alive over and over again. Tok-tok!
The second part, archive. Is mostly inspired by my favorite musical artist; Kim Namjoon. His handle for Instagram is rkive, the way he uses the word in a deeper meaning- to collect his memories in an archive itself inspired me to adopt the word too!
Anyone else randomly hear their parent’s voices in their heads? In true voice, right in the back of the head. Almost like a vulture over your head whenever you make a decisions, about to make one, or judge you right after you take a bad decision?
