And installed locally on the same machine, the x220s. Works. the 2 glossaries areside on the client part.

Then added english-german and german-english on the server, and added them in the client. That also works.

Success. Exam in Basel, Swissi.

Voraussetzung

Since I have 2 notebooks, I wanted to be able to use one of them as an extra screen for the other.

http://www.maxivista.com/ does just that. However, before, the computers need to be connected. I decided to use a LAN cable, not wireless. That makes it clearer: cable in = connected. However, using Windows, that is not totally straightfroward. Basically what had to be done: enter static IP addresses, I've chosen 192.168.0.1 for the x220s and 192.168.0.2 for the x220t, also enter the (default) subnet mask 255.255.255.0 .

Downloaded Maxivista test version, installed on both machines (there is always one main and one extra machine). It worked, needed some reboots, and also when the Firewall appeared, I had to allow Maxivista to go through the firewall.

It works fine but would not let me allow to perform a system backup. I compains about lack of space for some shadow things. Looking up on internet, this can lead to endless issues.
