This is transandrophobia.
Transmascs are being raped at an extraordinarily high rate [link], detransitioned, driven to suicide, murdered, having their housing removed, and a wide array of other issues. They are not privileged [link].
Once again, I find myself pointing out that the problem with MRAs isn't that they acknowledge sexism against men, but that they are misogynistic. MRAs are bad because they blame women for their issues and/or claim that women's issues are "less serious" than theirs.
Attributing masc-inclusive feminism to MRAs is like saying "women's rights are bad because look at all these terrible radfems!"
Pointing out extremists as a "example" of why a specific movement is bad gives a disingenuous outlook of the issues at hand.
Feminism is for all genders & nongenders. That includes men and mascs. Feminism is about gender equality.
The intersectionality between manhood & masculinity and marginalized traits, like queerness, being non-white, disability, low class, fatness, etc is real.
Look at all the stereotypes about gay men. Look at all the amatonormativity directed at mascs because they're stereotyped as "sexual beings." Look at the arrest rates for Black and disabled men. Look at how disabled men are treated as either aggressors or "failures of a man." Look at the stereotypes of fat men. Look at the constant mockery of intersex people with small penises, small testes, low testosterone, etc. Look at the constant mockery of men with uteruses, of male pregnancy. Look at how people constantly question the androgen levels of criminals to try and prove that androgenization makes someone evil and dangerous.
I could go on and on and on. Sexism towards men & mascs is also real.
Even if we're talking about a nonqueer, white, abled, wealthy, conventionally attractive man...how many boys are raised not to cry because it's "unmanly"? How many are pressured to be the moneymakers and the ones doing physical labor? How many men are stereotyped as being violent and predatory? How many men are stereotyped as being hypersexual? Gender essentialism is directed at men, not just women.
