“He’s late…” She murmured under her breath as she stood outside the building of her apartment, her back against the cemented wall. He had texted her to be outside in twenty minutes whether she was ready or not, forcing the aspiring journalist to pull herself away from her laptop and prepare to go out. And knowing Dohyun, she didn’t have much of a choice. He hadn’t given her a clue to where they were going or what they were going to do which made it a bit more frustrating. Especially when the dental studies student was now ten minutes late. “Jang Dohyun, that jerk–”

Killing the engine of his four wheel drive just a mere three minute walk away from where he was expecting the presence of another, the male takes a moment to highly consider on perhaps just waiting out for another five minutes or so. For one, the chances that Nam Eunji was most likely still taking her very own sweet time to get properly dressed, as she calls it was highly plausible. And two, why not? It’s always fun to see what kind of reaction he’d manage to get out of the female this time around. Fingers crossed that it’d be an annoyed one this time ‘round. She looks cuter anyway whenever she was slightly ticked off.. 

Despite almost having given into temptation, Dohyun proceeds to exit his vehicle with a poise of a man of his status. Casually pacing himself with one hand stuffed deep into the pockets of his outerwear and the other aimlessly scrolling through the list of unread messages on his mobile phone, the boy doesn’t feel the need to even fully pay attention to the path he was taking since it was such a familiar one.

“Y’know, if you’re gonna throw away my gift to you, the least you could do is not leave it sitting on top of the trash in plain view for me to see.” Reagan’s tone started off casual, with that hint of playfulness that was just default to them, but the more that they stared at the gift-wrapped box sitting among thrown out food and crumpled up papers, the more they couldn’t help but show how visibly upset by it they were. Not that they expected it to matter to Dohyun, but they couldn’t continue to brush off how all their attempts to be civil was met with nothing but rudeness. “Like… Have some fucking decency, would you? I didn’t have to get you anything, especially knowing you would probably do this– but I still thought about you and did. Really, don’t you think we’re both too old for these kinds of games?”

"Oh, but where’s the fun in doing that?” Great, the first thing Dohyun had to see on a Saturday morning was them, their step-sibling. God, just why in the world did Dongjun have to let such hindrances into the household. “I could have some but— it’s solely limited to those who deserve it.” With a forged laugh he starts out his sentence, though it gradually dwindles back down into that particular scowl he wears so well around the others presence. Annoyance clearly evident he rolls his eyes, indicating that he quite wasn’t in the mood for any of this bullshit at the moment. There Reagan went again, claiming that they ‘didn’t’ have to get him anything but still ‘did’ out of mere thoughtfulness. Pathetic, really. “I do know what you’re too old for, though. Trying to get sympathy. Are you really that oblivious?” He shakes his head before adding, “Wait — don’t answer that. Go talk to someone who’s actually willing to listen, I’m busy.”

Red was a good color and today, she really liked how the dark crimson color decorated her nails. Perfectly trimmed, just her style really and this made Alexa curve her lips into a triumphant smile. Everything seemed to be interesting right now rather than the person she was with; the fact that they were in a library didn’t help either. Alexa was allergic to such places, she doesn’t even know how she ended up in here.

“For the love of god– we’re not getting any cocktails here. C’mon, let’s go out already. I won’t mind if it’s just you and me– it’s a friendly date,”

For how the twenty one year old male found himself in the library on such a day  ( when he could pretty much be doing more entertaining things ) was quite a mystery – let alone the fact that he was accompanied by another that would generally cause other students to whisper things whenever passing by an individual of such a status.

“You got the drift pretty late,” his eyes tear away from the book he was about to pull out from one of the upper shelves and down onto the small figure of the female standing on the side. “A friendly date, you say?” A smirk forms on that particular word. “Don’t you think you’d get into a little trouble after being seen leaving with me, hm?”

“Just today,” the woman repeated with as much confidence as she had started with.  A laugh slipped passed her lips at his comment, the urge to roll her eyes being restrained.  “It must be your charming personality,” she spoke through her grin, hand dropping from her cheek to rest on her hip.

“Tch, right.” Dohyun lets out a soft chuckle before looking back over at the fellow royal.  “Mhm, of course it’s the charming personality. But you forgot to add the charming face, the charming dimples and–” he lets himself stop halfway, eyes glistening with mischief, knowing the reaction he’d receive from the other in no time. So instead he decides to drive the attention all onto Nami itself. “Though for you, I can’t quite say the same... What are your redeeming qualities, exactly?”

“Your hair looks so nice and thick today,” delicate fingers reached out, just grazing the tips of the other’s hair before she pulled away with a sweet grin.  “Did you use a new conditioner?  Or maybe it’s a different part?  Though I must say, it might look even better on the other side.” Nami retracted her arm, resting a perfectly manicured index finger on the middle of her cheek as she waited for them to respond.

“Just today? I beg to differ with that though.” A dimpled smile forms as per usual at her comment, pulling away slightly around the same time her hands do so. “Ah, there’s no point at all no matter what I do,” he hums. “You’d still end up being attracted towards me either way, no?”
