It with an extremely heavy heart that I write this TPOC Thursday. However, Blake Brockington’s life needs to be remembered and his accomplishments celebrated. In his short life Brockington touched a lot of lives and worked hard to fight against various forms of oppression including transphobia and police brutality.Despite facing rejection from family and friends as well as being targeted by many people online Blake worked hard to make the world a better place for transgender people. 

Blake was an activist, academically inclined, talented young man whose life ended way too shortly. On March 24th 2015 it was announced that he had committed suicide at the young age of 18. Society failed this brilliant and amazing man and his story must be remembered. While the community mourns we must also band together to save these youth before it is too late.

so stop trying to make a political statement by not listing nudity as nsfw, which it is, and actually be considerate for people who don’t want to get fucking fired because their boss sees them scrolling past nude images on their screen.

This is Mr. C 

He needs a home. 

My in-laws basically said that if we didn’t take him, they were basically going to shoot him because they didn’t want him anymore. Being me, I couldn’t let that happen. As you can see, he’s super sweet and friendly. He’s very skittish sometimes and shy and prefers the quiet. So, a small family, preferably with no or older kids would be the best environment for him. Or some old lady who wants a lap cat. 

He loves to eat and looks permanently sad but that just makes you want to cuddle him more. I believe he’s about 3 1/2 and he’s perfectly fine with other cats. He deserves a home forever. Someone who will love him and I’m not going to just give him to anyone. 

I’m in Missouri. The Springfield/Branson area. I’m asking 20 bucks for a re homing fee which will mostly cover getting him neutered/rabies shot before he makes his way to your home and heart. 

I am very serious about this. There’s a few questions that come along with this cat. Such as where he’ll be living, if you have other pets, if you’ve owned a cat before etc. Please, don’t take this lightly, because I’m not. I would keep him if I could but I can’t.
