“EXE”-2002: The Showman [Rough Report]

Basically, on release the game would be a normal game called “Tails’ Party Mania!” It would be a normal party game with three choices of minigames on release. Poker, Mafia, & some kinda board game like Mario Party. People were given a wide range of character choices & such. You could even customize them with clothes to make them your own. There was an online mode too. But then it gets removed from shelves, mobile, even consoles due to an error on SEGA’s part. People were refunded & the game fell into obscurity. Later on though, a mysterious user made a forum where they claimed to have a beta, sharing it with a lot of people. This is where it gets good. Essentially, an evil otherworldly entity finds he can essentially create a world completely under his jurisdiction on the internet. He uses an old copy of the game on someone’s computer. He wants to have as many victims as possible, so instead of immediately killing off people in the real world for his game, he instead essentially puts a timer on their life. It’s similar to how Sonic O’clock does it, but he doesn’t ever reveal himself…at least not on purpose. His beta is unstable, so sometimes “glitches” can show the true world for a split second. The way he gets ya is through a life or death game. Essentially, after about 1-2 weeks, he lures you in & forces you into a game of poker. This game however is always slightly in his favor. It’s not impossible to win but it’s near it. After all the house always wins… After you’ve lost to him, you’re brought into his twisted world. His games change. Poker becomes a sort of spin on Russian Roulette. Mafia becomes a sadistic, twisted game where one person is forced to kill people until either they’re executed or they execute everyone else. The Mario Party style game becomes more like Saw, with players having to go through bloody trials. There is hope for some though. People who have both the original game & the “beta” will have Tails pop up on your screen. He usually shows a message saying “Watch out for fakes! You may have downloaded one! Would you like me to delete it?” Even if you say no, he will still help. During the EXEs game, Tails will appear again, this time saying something along the lines of “Uh oh! Looks like that faker is cheating! Let me help you out!” He’ll then close the game. Unbeknownst to the player, Tails will actually fight off the EXE, almost always successfully. When he does, the beta will automatically delete. Apologies for the unprofessional response but we’re focusing on stopping the entity described. Although he may be useful in collecting more data on other “EXEs” as he will often pull them into his world as “Co-Hosts.” More info to come. [End of Rough Report]

Anomalous Entity 00-AA: “Smiles”

TW: Mentions of Abuse, Cannibalism, & Body Horror.

The entity, who named themselves “Smiles,” is not of our realm. From the research provided found, his original name was something along the lines of “Jake Burndam.” Born into a life of constant abuse, he soon grew to be a helpful, caring man, one with a secret curiosity of the taste of humans & other strange things but would never act on said curiosities. He was nicknamed “Smiles” by friends due to his cheery disposition, even in the hardest of times. He had gotten married, but as time went on, they struggled financially due to the crumbling economic state of his former world. He volunteered to be a test subject since it had offered a lot of money to the families of subjects. Unknowingly to him, he’d be the main subject. When given the treatment, he was the only one to survive it. As they did more & more tests on Jake him, the test facility soon found his body was adapting rapidly to all of the procedures. Soon, his skin became harder, his bones became denser, & his eyes secreted a black fluid. This black fluid replaced any & all blood in his body. It had strange adaptive properties. One day, Jake the subject snapped. He had gone & killed everyone within the facility. Their screams left a mark on him. The lifespan of his universe soon ended only a few years later. He was all that remained. He had lost everything, his love, his childhood, his friends, his life. It was all taken from him. It wasn’t fair. He was angry with it, & in his anger, he punched the floor of the white void, shattering it into what we know as the Shatterverse. Being that he was at the center of it, he fell into the prime shard dimension, aka the origin. It was just like his world, but only a bit better. People had a fair bit of money, not enough for a mansion but enough to live in nice neighborhoods. He had fell into a town. When he woke up, someone screamed at the sight of him. It caused an involuntary reaction. He only saw red. After his blind outburst, he couldn’t seethe face of the woman. It was nothing more than a red paste. He ran into the woods. He grabbed a mask out of a nearby store. He wandered in the forest for days, furthering himself from the innocent inhabitants of this world. He stopped one day, finding a body. He had an insatiable hunger. He ate everything he could. Deer. Birds. Fruits. Vegetables. It wasn’t enough. He looked at the body. He took a bite. Then another. He still was hungry, but he soon realized he’d never be satisfied. He left, soon finding an abandoned cabin. He now resides their, an urban legend to those who come to the woods of the campsite. Despite the warnings, people can’t help but scream at the cabin, just to see if the legend of the Smiling Woodsman are true. They soon come to regret it.

Look, I’ll be clear, I never really thought of doing commissions. It was always a sort of last ditch effort for me. But due to issues in my life right now, I may need to do commissions. If I do, I’ll update you in the future. I really am sorry.
