LIFE RULES THEN YOU DIE

im listening to my new drag mix (the show is saturday and i had a brain blast and basically revamped the whole mix two nights before....oops) and i added in a really ASMR-y high quality stomach gurgle sound effect and it's throwing me off so bad every time. i start getting scared...

there's going to be a drag king reality competition show on Revry TV ("it's on poob you can watch it on poob") and at first i was like ehhh enough drag competitions on tv they're so unrealistic and unrepresentative and it's the only drag media getting made. but now it's getting closer to releasing and im like ooooh...well....sasha velour and cole escola are guest judging.....tenderoni and wang newton are recurring judging...............i wonder if any of my favorite kings like sweaty eddy would be on there...........and now i'm very excited actually

as a know-nothing kind of guy i find audacity fascinating, bc i can go in there and to me it feels like a total dichotomy between "intuitive features my ignorant ass can use" and "fully cryptic collections of sliders and number fields used only with the forbidden knowledge". but there are enough intuitive dumb features for me to put together a decent drag mix by just obeying the principles of "your clips should be the same volume" and "don't blow out the club speakers"

one of the mods on the drag subreddit went off on a guy asking if he can do drag without wearing makeup saying they're sick of people trying to break into the scene without being willing to actually do drag and put in the effort and considering all the other comments are "yas babe go for it drag is art and art is subjective as my favorite boring ass drag tv hosts say :D heart eyes emoji" im inclined to agree with the mod lol
