man ok. I don't know if this is because I like...use claude for stuff. like I have a subscription for work (claude is extremely helpful for the specific kind of small-scale development stuff I do) and have spent a lot of time playing around with it just to see what it can do. and most people on here seem to very staunchly not. but while yeah yeah theres no way to tell 100% that something is written or co-written by AI there is definitely A Way that LLMs write stuff unless you are doing a lot of manual editing of the output, even with a lot of customization and re-prompting. and it is not about the em-dashes (I love em dashes!!) or specific isolated word choices there is a rhythm and cadence and structure to the way these things write and if you have a lot of exposure to it imo it is pretty easy to read something and go ok well this seems like it was at least co-written by AI.
