DachaBo is my creation and the idea started in about...2016? I have an old hidden account somewhere where I actually have the first picture up haha. (Ya'll'll never find it though. That shit's locked.)

This was the first piece of art and I did it purely because I was a fan of the song Tamagotchi by Daze. I was in my DDR OST phase. There wasn't any YANDERE OOOO. I was just a teenager who like. Liked retro stuff.

I revisited the idea laterrrr...? I forget when this was. I think about 2018. Wasn't very interested in it. Not a lot of art actually existed before 2021. It was cutesy still and SFW.

Bo would actually end up being a combination of the two male characters on the side.

In 2021 I was not. Doing A-okay. Some not fun things were happening at home. And I went full-ship into NSFW. So I started rooting through older ideas I had because I was in a bit of a bind.

SP was originally me having like... $1.5k in savings, losing my job, and having to make a pretty intense move really quick. I was gonna invest the money in hiring someone to help me make an NSFW digital pet. I couldn't find any programmers so I ended up doing AphroDesia instead and coming back to a VERY limited and shittily programmed DB you all know today.

Simoun is the original pink cat character but. A guy. There wasn't much thought besides making his transition actually purposeful and intentional.

Originally, he was supposed to be South Asian/Indian. We couldn't find a VA who fit that ethnicity AND did NSFW (which is actually a pretty common problem for nsfw casting). And I mention that because I'd actually done a lot of research into Bollywood action stars and whatnot. I (hopefully to some correctness) was hoping he'd come off as cool and kickass and actually meaningful representation.

Scripting for 1 ½ routes are completely finished. Now coding is what I’m dreading. However, Night 3 is coming to a close, which means the update is nearly done. Just need to brush up the dream sequences’s.

Cg’s are nearly all completed save for a select few, and new backgrounds + items have been added.
