TIME TO FALL IN LOVE WITH STRANGELOVE
Stop all the clocks, your homie is back! For a visit. No time to explain where Iāve been and what Iāve been up to, but I have to share my latest massive experience with all my fellow DM fans on here - if you are still here.
I went to Brisbane to see STRANGELOVE ! ! !
Below is my modest āreviewā of that absolutely magnificent eveningā¦
I encourage all of you to come to their shows if you have an opportunity, if not - there are many other ways to support them. Like, share and subscribe.
Much Ā L O V E, Natalie xo

Now, when the proverbial dust has settled a bit, itās time for a blown-out and full-on silly review!
Iām gonna be honest and say that I was quite skeptical to begin with - until I got my ticket. Hey, take second best, itās possibly the closest thing to Depeche Mode there is ever going to be for us devotees stuck in Australia. And Iām going to go even as far as to say that in the future I might even prefer Strangelove. Stone me.
Itās the closest we can get to time travel. There is Alan - or I should say Julian! - and he plays the show like a demigod and is hot as pits of hell, and if you do something funny he will smile to you. if you are not sure when to clap your damn hands together - James has got you covered buddy, and he wears the sickest pair of pants, and I sincerely hope youāll get to see him in all his glory under the houselights. if Martin is your favourite - Brent will supply plenty of piercing yet fragile vocals and action. Despite the jokes, āSomebodyā made me cry so hard, after it finished a stranger asked me if I was ok. and Leo is doing a fantastic job walking through the ages of DM in Daveās shoes, all the ladies fall over. I stayed strong though. Because Alan is my one. Anyway⦠Halfway through the very first track youāll be done comparing and start enjoying the show like itās the last thing you get to do in life. if you are anything like me, an average, slightly insane DM fan, you will enjoy it so hard that by the end of the show you wonāt be able to speak or even stand. you will dance and scream like a fucking idiot. And afterwards these guys will put up with quite a large amount of tight hugs, silly selfies and weak-ass banter, not to mention DM puns galoreā¦
They are fantastic and you should see them, itās going to be the best show of your year. They are natural and free, play the show on their own terms but with undeniable fondness and respect of the source material. Omnitalented yet somehow so humble, Brent, Julian, Leo and James are beautiful people with a lot of stories to tell, and they really care to help you relive the darkest, most romantic - and ultimately the best moments in life. For a while I was coming to terms with the possibility that I might never get to experience DM live. Well, now I donāt care if itās true, because I went to a Strangelove gig. And you should go see them too. And give as much love to them as you can. Make a day of it. Make a friend of it⦠Make a memory of it. itās time to fall in love with Strangeloveā¦
