I like to believe they don't live in the castle permanently. I'd like to think it's more of a semi vacation home or when the New York trio returns and they all just hangout there. They mostly come back to the castle to check up and clean it up from time to time. The castle is a temporary place until they make the cabin they said they would make once everyone is free.

Her senses gets more sensitive every-time the blood moon gets near, her appearance changes into something she’s familiar fighting with. She also fear accidentally attacking her love ones.
