PUT YOUR HANDS UP

he can't help but let mouth hang ajar, brain doing a thousand hoops a second to process the absolute gossip she'd just bombed him with. it takes all of a few seconds for his shock to turn to take a complete spin into glee, and hizashi's clasping her hands in his with a little bounce of the balls of his feet.

" holy shit holy shit, yo, you gotta back that up a li'l! how'd she react? she get off your ass since then? oooh, i bet those glares are tasty in the field, huh?! " the briefest of pauses as that second bit of information seeps through.

he sees the tiniest glimpse of a bloodshot dark eye, the poorest excuse for a glare he's seen, and a huff that brings about his own airy laugh. it's when his previous words seemed to have processed to shouta in which hizashi is met with both eyes staring directly into him, not unlike a certain feline in their lives. " i hear ya, i hear ya. " ( no one's around, and no one would be coming around for a while, unless it'd be a one-off. hizashi allowed himself to almost melt towards his boyfriend, a sincerer smile filled with every single emotion he felt for this man. love and wry amusement being the most prominent. )

" i brought some coffee, if that'd wake you from the dead. otherwise, 'm not opposed to hauling you over my shoulder and moving you somewhere else. hmmm ... " make a show of tapping a finger to his chin in deep pondering, " firefighter or bridal style? "

though, one look over his shoulder reminded him of the complete mess he'd seen on shouta's desk, and there's the tiniest flicker of his eyelids in tandem with quiet inhale / exhale. hizashi was no stranger to work, and he'd been worlds grateful for his past self in actually focusing and finishing his own tasks for the weekend. his sight finds its way back to raven, and he gives a roll of his eyes in faux annoyance. ( it does little in the face of the softness to him. )

and all he does is hum in response, fond yet exasperated - placing his mug of caffeinated goodness on the ( very messy ) desk before dropping slowly into a squat besides him. shouta always looked adorable, he would always capture hizashi's heart and affection. but that affection's quickly overridden by the somewhat sour note of incredulity, as he has half a mind to scoop up shouta himself and go put him to lay down elsewhere. somewhere other than the fucking floor.
