The Lavender Haze video is out now. There is lots of lavender. There is lots of haze. There is my incredible costar Laith Ashley who I absolutely adored working with. This was the first video I wrote out of the 3 that have been released, and this one really helped me conceptualize the world and mood of Midnights, like a sultry sleepless 70’s fever dream. Hope you like it 😁

Been dying to get this off our chest: Lavender Haze music video out tonight at midnight. 💜

After 8+ hours of glitchy ticketmaster HELL yesterday, today I managed  to enter the Capital One presale queue at position 1300 and quickly score 2 lower bowl tickets without any glitches.

Beforehand I spent a lot of time looking for ways to combat the dreaded  “not logged in on this device” error that I got 1000 times yesterday (which made me lose out on affordable floor seats dozens of times and also took 5 years off my life) 

Not sure if 1 none or some of these helped - but just wanted to share  everything i found just in case! 

1. An hour or so before the sale, log out of Ticketmaster, clear your cache/cookies/browsing data, and log back in

2. Use your laptop/desktop, but enter the sale via the Events section of Taylor Swift’s website, NOT ticketmaster! Go to taylorswift.com > Events > “More Info” by your city. When you’re in the lobby just make sure it says “Hi NAME” in the corner and you’ll know you’re logged in

3. Delete the Ticketmaster app from your phone/iPad/whatever you are NOT buying tickets on! 

4. I know we all want the best seats, but forreal dont lose precious moments examining the seat chart. My Denver cap one presale sold out in under 10 mins I literally just grabbed the first 2 I saw

Surprise! I think of Midnights as a complete concept album, with those 13 songs forming a full picture of the intensities of that mystifying, mad hour. However! There were other songs we wrote on our journey to find that magic 13. I’m calling them 3am tracks. Lately I’ve been loving the feeling of sharing more of our creative process with you, like we do with From The Vault tracks. So it’s 3am and I’m giving them to you now. 🌌

Midnights is a wild ride of an album and I couldn’t be happier that my co pilot on this adventure was Jack Antonoff. He’s my friend for life (presumptuous I know but I stand by it) and we’ve been making music together for nearly a decade HOWEVER… this is our first album we’ve done with just the two of us as main collaborators. We’d been toying with ideas and had written a few things we loved, but Midnights actually really coalesced and flowed out of us when our partners (both actors) did a film together in Panama. Jack and I found ourselves back in New York, alone, recording every night, staying up late and exploring old memories and midnights past. We were so lucky to also work with our brilliant collaborators Sam Dew, Sounwave, Lana Del Rey, Jahaan Sweet, Keanu Beats, William Bowery, and Zoe Kravitz. Laura Sisk was our excellent engineer. The wonderful and wise Beth Garrabrant took the album photographs. Midnights is a collage of intensity, highs and lows and ebbs and flows. Life can be dark, starry, cloudy, terrifying, electrifying, hot, cold, romantic or lonely. Just like Midnights. Which is out now
