She really likes comics! She became "passionate" through those 4 panels long little comics with simple punchlines, and she doodles them often in her free time for fun. She's more western-comic lover, old DC type of girl, but little comedies are her faves, like Charlie Brown or Garfield.

It's not like she doesn't like mangas, but she prefers stuff like Pop Team Epic than most other stuff.

As in, they are kinda similar, both in their presentation and in a role they take in their family as the weak one, being used and discarded

Therefore, my question is, does Todomatsu sometimes see his past self in Tomiko? If yes, does he despise it in her? Or kind of enjoys finally being the one who gets to hurt the weak one?

I now declare it's canon that Totty sees his past self in her, but he doesn't despise her, more like both annoyed and glad for her existence at the same time. He would've not choose her if she was any different than now, because her being so gulliable and easy to gaslight and manipulate—while also being rich—is what made him approach her. He sees her more as a wallet and a doll; he always liked being spoiled, so having someone who has the money to spoil him is enough for him. Probably yes, he also finds satisfaction into being the one that is "superior" and stronger, but it's more a side thing, especially since he ignores her most of the time and gives her the bare minimum to keep the relationship up.

Generally speaking, they're both happy and worried for each and every wife/gf; they finally took their sons and most of them got a job/a proper life thanks to their partner. But also, Matsuzou and Matsuyo know that those are women, having to deal with their good-for-nothing sons, so, at least at first, they were worried as HELL.

For Matsuyo in particular, I imagine she has a bit of conflicting feelings too, because she loves her baby boys, she took care of them for so long, and she "lost" them so soon. Many parents feel really lonely after their children move out, I think she won't make an exception, even if her husband works less now.

For every wife/gf specifically:

Aguri: Choromatsu informed his brothers about Aguri's existence first of all, keeping it secret to his parents, because she was still in high school when they met. Only when she graduated and they were close to marry, he told his parents about her (WITHOUT mentioning the high school part). Matsuzou thinks it's cool that his son has such a young wife, while Matsuyo was... a bit taken aback, but said nothing else.

Minako: AN ANGEL, GOD'S MIRACLE!!!!! Minako dresses more formally around Ichi's parents and doesn't use tons of makeup (after all, Matsuyo and Matsuzou are still old people), so they never had anything to say about her look, they only saw her good manners and her kindness.

Amelia: ANOTHER MIRACLE- a bit less. At first, it was like with Minako, but even more accentuated since Amelia is a "business woman". After knowing her a bit better, they both think she's a bit too uptight, but not so badly (Matsuyo likes her less).

Tomiko: They're both convinced that girl is gonna die soon/break up with Totty horribly.

Homura: They of course don't know about her porn actress past. They although tested her A LOT to see if she truly could take care of Jyushi or not (it was essential), and ended up really happy and satisfied with the results!

Tsubame: Another miracle, but in a more desperate way. Matsuyo has no faith that hers and Oso's relationship is going to last forever, Matsuzou agrees but also doesn't really care. In the end what mattered was to take Oso away.

Most of them don't, except Amelia and Aguri.

Amelia has a sister back in america, while Aguri is the seventh and last child, so she has siblings.

You seriously think Amelia saw a cunty man with the fattest ass trapped in the tightest lather pants ever and thought she had to cover those up? His cuntiness was one of the reasons she fell in love with him (yes, she is straight forward when it comes to having sex, but that doesn't mean she doesn't feel sexual attraction or that she represses her sexuality; she just normally has a lower libido - or at least lower than Kara).

IF he had a job like hers or was her coworker, absolutely she'd be dressing him more elegantly, but he's usually in a room at her hotel or at home or around, he doesn't accompany her to meetings or similar, so she doesn't really care. And yes, she buys outfits for him, or just lets him choose what he wants when they go shopping together. She loves fashion too and sees Karamatsu's choices as either or both fashionable and/or sexy (depending on the outfit).
