SHE IS RADIANT !   Luna can feel it too.   The humming song of their line – she is reminded of pale light through glass, the way colors spot the floor at the right angle.   She’s so warm.   Luna knows at once that they are kin – is reminded of her mother SYLVA, but that isn’t right either.  This woman can’t be that much older than Luna herself !   And Luna is certain that she doesn’t have another sibling hiding out there in the world somewhere … so then – 

“ Yes, I am the Oracle Lunafreya – and you, though I cannot name logic to it, must be a former Oracle … ? “  Luna’s smile is INVITING and pleasant, excited but curiously puzzled.   Is she a messenger like Gentiana ? 

“   ——   lunafreya.  what a darling name. a perfect name for an oracle.   “  at this, with aera practically vibrating with excitement, she reaches forward and claims one of luna’s hand within her own.  her blood sings; loud and demanding, her own hand shaking and her heart hammers away in her throat. it’s only a brief moment of wonder that if she coughs hard enough, with the right timing, maybe her heart would come spilling out. ( to think, that the fleuret bloodline, the oracle bloodline still exists, and shines bright. perhaps it’s relief that causes her to tremble with relief. )

*  aera loves to dance. there was once a time, as a child, that she could dance around without a care in the world. now, it seems moments like those are fleeting, rare. ( she’s more than eager to teach anyone willing, though. how to be light on your toes, how to let loose and let all of your worries disappear for the night. )

*  she’s a very light hearted person! she is, of course, gentle and kind. all the characteristics that you would expect in the first oracle. but, she’s very cunning and devious. along with being somewhat of a trouble maker. and if she gets comfortable around you, you’ll be subjected to her teasing. ( it just shows how much she’s grown attached to you! )

*  you can fucking PRY this headcanon from my cold, dead hands but basically. when aera sneaks out of the castle and meets ardyn outside of the castle, when things are calm, no one needs healing, no one is in immediate danger — aera drags ardyn to a nearby flower field and sits him down. she’ll braid his hair, weave flowers in his hair and also make him a flower crown. ( so ardyn can always have a crown. )
