chaos  in  the  capital,  the  words  are  gasped  upon  the  lips  of  the  king's  guard  who  reports  what  had  begun  as  a  small  gathering  in  a  local  tavern.  words  muttered  over  goblets  of  mead,  eyes  darting  about  them  for  fear  of  the  presence  of  a  spy  in  their  midst.  dangerous  words,  terrible  things,  accusations  pointed  towards  the  king  and  his  entire,  damned  line.  they  have  had  enough,  and  do  they  not  outnumber  the  king  and  his  army?  aren't  much  of  the  common  folk  divine,  too?  is  it  not  they  who  offer  up  their  own  to  the  army,  and  how  many  of  them  return  to  their  homes?  surely  not  close  to  the  amount  of  nobility  who  flutter  off  the  to  north  in  service  of  the  king  only  to  return,  safe  as  anything  weeks  later.  it  is  a  leader  they  pray  for,  and  it  is  a  leader  they  will  fight  for.

i  could  see  rachel  fitting  as  :  the  youngest  bladyan  child,  the  funar  daughter  or  any  adopted  child  underneath  the  age  of  25.
