my apologies to anyone i might’ve had anything active with on here, but i think that until after this current semester ends and i finish making my new blog, i’m just going to be wholly inactive on tumblr. its for several reasons, mostly personal, that i don’t really want to talk about right now (even then it’d only be if we’re close friends).

so i’m set on the decision to make a new blog that’s muses from all of my fandoms

soooo, 2020 was a shitshow and we all know that. i didn’t have much time to work on myself, and hell, i feel like most of what i did was make mistake after mistake.

but i guess that’s the thing about personal growth, because it’s not always going to be a perfect line. recovery would be a lot more accepted if we all realized that.

i just feel a lot better though, now that i’m focusing more on self-improvement than trying to prove myself to people who frankly, let us live in their heads rent-free. sure, i’m not okay all the time at best, but it’s still better than stewing in the past.

i’m nearing the end of college. i got a job again. i’m still not doing okay, but i feel better now than i did back then. especially with the people i stuck around with. i can’t say for certain or not whether 2021 will be better for me, but i’m going to try to make it that way

You want someone who will see your favorite flower and will give it to you, without even thinking about it. You want someone who will remember all the little details about you, the things so seemingly unimportant but that matter more than you thought they did. You want someone who will still be there, thirty years down the line, holding your hand while the two of you do two separate things. You want the intimacy of being known by someone who makes you feel safe. You don't want expensive dinners or grand proposals. You want someone who will love you consistently.

It was nice to have a brief break from all the fighting, every once in a while at least. One where they weren’t slogging through the countryside trying to find a way to get both nations to unite for their common cause. In the halls of Izumo, once the real Izana was back, he’d allowed them to rest here a while before their journey continued, and Corrin could be no more grateful than they were now. Though the kimono had to be adjusted for their...form, Corrin was glad to be wearing something other than armor for once. It was late in the evening, though he still wandered the castle halls just to get some night air. True, they couldn’t sleep as well as they did before, but being able to walk about at night safely was another blessing given to them all. And then, it’s not long until they pass by a particular room where small clicking noises can be heard within. Curious, he decides to slide the screen door open slightly, just to see what was making that noise. Inside was one of their younger brothers, Takumi, playing...shogi with himself? He remembers Leo telling him once that playing chess alone could help heighten tactical ability, but then again they were never really good at chess. Their curiosity grew, and Corrin decided to linger a little longer, perhaps even join their brother for the evening. Even though he’d been reluctant to join them since the battle held here, he still did, and Corrin was grateful again, that they had made even a small step towards unity.
